While Diablo 3 had a level cap of 60 (or 70 with the Reaper of Souls expansion), followed by the potentially limitless Paragon levels, Diablo 4 takes a different approach. In Diablo 4, the progression is divided into two distinct caps: level 50 and levels 50-100.


Level 50 marks the point where players stop gaining new skills for their characters, making it comparable to the old Diablo 3 cap. Levels 50-100, however, serve as the new equivalent of the Paragon system, rewarding players with a total of 200 Paragon points (four per level) to enhance their endgame Diablo 4 experience. This structured approach to leveling sets a well-defined goal for players, making level 100 a more tangible and rewarding target than Diablo 3's less specific Paragon system.
