Summary

The Series 5 Week 1 Festival Playlist is now live in Forza Horizon 6, bringing the British Automotive theme and a fresh Treasure Hunt for players to complete. The Ito Region Treasure Hunt is particularly easy to miss because the chest is hidden in an open farmland area rather than beside a major landmark. Here's the quickest way to find it and claim the rewards. Players can also buy Forza Horizon 6 Credits for their car collection and Festival Playlist goals.

What Is the Ito Region Treasure Hunt?

The Treasure Hunt clue for Series 5 Week 1 is:

"Follow the Photo Clue to Discover the Treasure!"

Unlike some hunts that require a specific car or skill, this challenge focuses on recognizing the location shown by the photo clue. The target area is Ito, located on the eastern side of the Horizon Japan map.

Completing the hunt rewards you with 3 Festival Playlist points, 100,000 Credits, and 5,000 XP, making it a quick way to progress toward this week's seasonal rewards.

Where to Find the Treasure Chest

The Treasure Chest is located south of Ito Airfield, in the farmland area near a railway crossing. It can be surprisingly difficult to spot because there are few distinctive landmarks around the chest.

Start by fast traveling to Ito Airfield and drive south toward the farmland. Follow the road running between the northern and southern sections of the fields until you approach the railway tracks.

When you reach the railway crossing, look for a house on the right-hand side. Before crossing the tracks, turn left into the small open, tree-free area. The Treasure Chest is located just off the road in this field.

Smash the Chest and Collect Your Rewards

Once you reach the correct location, simply drive into the Treasure Chest to destroy it. The game will immediately register the Treasure Hunt as completed and award the 100,000 FH6 CR, 5,000 XP, and 3 Festival Playlist points.

These points also contribute toward the Series 5 Summer rewards, including the 2019 Ginetta G40 Junior at 20 points and 2021 McLaren 620R at 40 points.

Final Tips

The easiest approach is to use Ito Airfield as your starting point, head south, and pay close attention to the railway crossing and nearby house. Because the chest sits in an otherwise ordinary field, searching randomly around Ito can waste a lot of time.

Once you know the location, however, the Series 5 Week 1 Ito Region Treasure Hunt takes only a few minutes to complete.
