Summary:
The latest ARC Raiders Items Update 1.45 is now live with new content, the Ascending the Mountain project, community-designed Rubber Ducks, the Hornet Hunter set, Expedition 5, gameplay improvements, and major changes to the Cred system. With the Frozen Trail update arriving on October 8, this patch also gives players a preview of what is coming next.
1. Complete the Ascending the Mountain Project
The biggest addition in Update 1.45 is the new Ascending the Mountain project. Radar research has detected strange Phantom ARC signals leading toward a mountain range beyond the current underground tube network.
Apollo is working on an experimental way to reach this area, and Raiders must help by collecting different materials during the project. Required items include Mechanical Components, Detonators, Explosive Compound, Wires, Voltage Inverters, Central Firing, Rocket Thrusters, Sensors, Broken Guidance Systems, Advanced Electrical Components, and other materials.
The project offers useful rewards such as weapons, equipment, crafting materials, keys, and blueprints. One of the most interesting rewards is the Hot Air Balloon charm, which may hint at how Raiders will eventually travel toward the Frozen Trail region.
2. Get the Hornet Hunter Set
The Hornet Hunter Set is now available in the store for 1,000 Raider Tokens, while the full bundle costs around 1,800 Tokens if you already own the Craftsman Backpack.
The set includes several customization options, including removable armor pieces, shoulder equipment, gloves, a waist bag, and different helmet configurations. There is also a Hornet Hunter version for Scrappy, making this a strong cosmetic choice for players who like detailed ARC-themed outfits. The Static Set has also returned to the store.
3. Collect the Three Community Rubber Ducks
Update 1.45 adds three Rubber Ducks designed by the ARC Raiders community. Players can collect all three and display them in their Raider Den.
The winning designs are the MRI Duck, Arcade Duck, and Frosty/Penguin Duck. Each has its own rarity and style, and all three are free collectibles.
4. Spend Your Cred Before October 8
One of the most important changes is the retirement of Cred. When Frozen Trail launches on October 8, unused Cred will expire, so spend it before the deadline.
Existing Raider Deck rewards will move into the new reward system, while rewards you have already claimed will remain yours. There is therefore no reason to save Cred for later.
5. Take Advantage of Gameplay Improvements
Update 1.45 improves several gameplay systems. Players now follow moving surfaces only after landing, quick item cycling can be rebound separately, ARC Turbine Mines can be pinged, and the Ilion has reduced weapon sway for better aiming.
Matriarch stomps can no longer damage players through tall cover. A new severe over-encumbrance state also prevents players who are far above their weight limit from sprinting or jumping.
The update also improves Snitch Scanner ARC behavior, audio and voice chat, customization, matchmaking messages, inventory feedback, and squad stability. The game has been upgraded from Unreal Engine 5.3 to 5.7, with many crash and performance fixes.
6. Prepare for Frozen Trail
ARC Raiders Items for sale Update 1.45 is mainly setting the stage for the next major chapter. Finish the Mountain Project, collect the three Rubber Ducks, claim the new store rewards you want, and most importantly, spend your remaining Cred before October 8.
With Frozen Trail approaching, these changes could be the first steps toward reaching the mysterious mountain region.
