MapleStory Worlds: Artale - Level 30 - 70 Guide

Apr-11-2025 PST Maplestory Artale

Welcome back, fellow Maplers! Today, while grinding Foresta Golems on my Fighter, I wanted to take a break and continue my second job advancement guide—this time focusing on Pages.

Out of the three Warrior subclasses, Pages have it the worst in the early game. Unlike Spearmen, who contribute with Hyper Body, and Fighters, who have Rage, Pages don’t offer any party buffs or unique skills that benefit early grinding. While Rage could have been useful, Artale's current Snowflake Meta grants a 20 Attack bonus to everyone in a map for 10 minutes, effectively making Rage obsolete.

MapleStory Worlds: Artale - Level 30 - 70 Guide

As someone who played all three Warriors back in Old School MapleStory, I want to share my experience and help new Pages by showing them what skills to prioritize in the second job of Artale.

Weapon Choices: Sword vs. Blunt Weapons

Pages can wield either swords or blunt weapons, with the option of choosing between one-handed or two-handed versions. Ultimately, the choice comes down to preference. For simplicity, I’ll refer to both Sword Mastery and Blunt Weapon Mastery as "Weapon Mastery" and Sword Booster and Blunt Weapon Booster as "Weapon Booster."

Skill Build Guide

Levels 30-36: Maxing Weapon Mastery

The first skill you should prioritize is Weapon Mastery, as it provides 20 Accuracy. Any old-school Warrior knows the struggle of missing monsters, making this an essential skill to level up early.

  • Level 30-36: Allocate all SP into Weapon Mastery, raising it to level 19.

  • Level 37: Put 1 SP into Weapon Mastery to max it at level 20, and allocate 2 SP into Weapon Booster.

Levels 38-48: Boosting Attack Speed and Power Guard

Weapon Booster is important, but you won’t need to max it immediately. Instead, leave it at level 5 early on and come back to it in the late 60s.

  • Level 38: Put 3 SP into Weapon Booster to reach level 5.

  • Levels 39-48: Allocate all SP into Power Guard, maxing it at level 30.

Power Guard is invaluable because it reduces physical damage taken by 40%, drastically cutting potion costs. In Artale, potions are expensive, costing around 1 million mesos per level at higher levels. By maxing Power Guard, you’ll save a significant amount of Artale mesos over time.

Levels 49-58: Maxing Final Attack

Unlike Old School MapleStory, Final Attack has been fixed in Artale and is now a viable skill. It passively triggers a follow-up attack when using Power Strike or Slash Blast, making it a great DPS boost.

  • Levels 49-58: Allocate all SP into Final Attack, maxing it at level 30.

Levels 59-65: Investing in Threaten

Threaten was widely ignored in the original MapleStory because it didn’t work on bosses. However, in Artale, it has been revamped to lower a monster’s defense by 20% at max level, including bosses!

  • Levels 59-64: Put all SP into Threaten, raising it to level 18.

  • Level 65: Allocate 2 SP to max Threaten at level 20, and put 1 SP into Weapon Booster (now at level 6).

Although Threaten hasn’t seen widespread use yet, I foresee it becoming an essential skill for White Knights to weaken bosses in future Artale content.

Levels 66-70: Finishing Off Weapon Booster

• Levels 66-70: Allocate all SP into Weapon Booster, maxing it at level 20.

• Level 70: You’ll have 1 extra SP, which can go into Iron Body (a first-job skill).

Conclusion

By level 70, your skill build should look like this:

  • Weapon Mastery: 20 (MAX)

  • Weapon Booster: 20 (MAX)

  • Power Guard: 30 (MAX)

  • Final Attack: 30 (MAX)

  • Threaten: 20 (MAX)

  • Iron Body: 1

This build focuses on survivability, DPS, and utility. Power Guard saves mesos, Final Attack increases damage output, and Threaten helps weaken bosses. While Pages may have a rough early game, their third-job advancements into White Knights make them an exciting class to play in Artale!
