New Amulets + Massive QoL Changes are the biggest highlights of this Summer Sweep Up batch. The update introduces the Necklace of Fangs, which provides +12 Ranged Attack and +1 Ranged Strength and comes from Turoth at a 1/128 drop rate.
Magic users also receive four elemental amulets: Air, Water, Earth, and Fire. Each provides +10 Magic Attack and increases the maximum hit of its matching elemental spells by 2.
Players can combine all four into an Elemental Amulet, which keeps the +10 Magic Attack bonus while increasing the maximum hit of all elemental spells by two. This gives lower-level accounts and Ironmen a useful alternative before reaching stronger jewelry upgrades.

Lucky Penny Gets a Major Upgrade
The Lucky Penny can now be consumed to unlock its charge-saving effect permanently, meaning players no longer need to equip it. The effect also applies to the Amulet of Blood Fury.
The catch is that the effect deactivates if a player loses Master Combat Achievement completion. It becomes active again once that tier is regained.
Other notable QoL improvements include Seed Vault inventory locking, Abyssal Lantern storage in the Magic Wardrobe, and a Create Last option for player-owned house lecterns.
OSRS Gets More Skilling and PvM Improvements
OSRS is also improving several systems that players interact with constantly. Shark Lures now reduce harpoon fishing delays based on how many are active.
One lure gives a 50% chance to reduce the delay from five ticks to four. Three lures guarantee the four-tick delay, while five lures add a 50% chance to reduce it again from four ticks to three.

Jagex reviewed the affected data and identified 154 players from the recent bug window. A separate investigation found another 489 personal bests connected to an older 2025 issue.
That means 643 Nex personal-best records will be reverted to their pre-bug values. Following the cleanup, the fastest legitimate record should sit around 42 seconds based on the available data.
This approach is intended to keep PvM records competitive without rewarding exploits or accidental mechanics. Players can still report other suspicious personal bests for investigation.
