Skip League Mechanics During the Atlas Rush

Early in the league, Ritual, Breach, Abyss, and other mechanics are much less rewarding before their dedicated Atlas trees are developed. Spending time completing them also slows down your overall progression.

Instead, rush the main Atlas objectives and skip mechanics that appear inside your maps. Even if a Ritual or Breach spawns, move on and focus on completing your Atlas objectives.

The goal is to unlock as much generic Atlas power as possible as quickly as you can. These bonuses improve the core rewards of your maps, including rare monsters, tablets, map rewards, currency, and experience.

The faster you finish this initial progression, the sooner you can begin properly juicing your maps.

Atlas Nodes to Avoid

Step 2: Start Farming Abyss

Why Rare Gear Matters Early

The early-league economy is completely different from the late-league economy.

Players are still replacing campaign equipment and building their first mapping setups. As a result, gear with basic but useful stats can sell quickly.

Life, resistances, and other straightforward defensive or offensive stats can be valuable during the first few days. Instead of relying entirely on rare currency drops, this strategy turns the large amount of equipment generated by Rogue Exiles and high rarity into additional profit.

This also makes the strategy especially effective for players who can quickly identify and sell useful rares.

Step 4: Use Ulaman for Early Currency

For the first day or two, Ulaman Abyss is particularly useful.

Why Ulaman Works at League Start

Ulaman provides currency chests. When the Exalted-to-Divine ratio is relatively low, these chests can provide several Exalted Orbs at a time.

During the early economy, repeatedly finding three or four Exalted Orbs from a currency chest adds up surprisingly quickly.

Later in the league, the preferred Abyss boss can change as the value of Omens increases. At that point, switching to Amenue can become the better option.

If Ritual is the mechanic you want to run immediately, rush its dedicated Atlas points first.

Running Ritual without its Atlas investment is generally much less attractive. Once the relevant nodes are unlocked, however, doing Ritual consistently becomes much more worthwhile.

The same general principle applies to other league mechanics: unlock their dedicated power before spending large amounts of time completing them.
