ARC Raiders Expedition 2 (2nd Journey) - Don't Miss It

ARC Raiders Feb-27-2026 PST

Congratulations, Raider! Expedition 2 (2nd Journey) in ARC Raiders takes you beyond Speranza with new challenges, seasonal progression, and stacked rewards. Unlike regular gameplay, Expedition 2 resets key aspects of your Raider while retaining certain permanent achievements.

ARC Raiders Expedition 2 (2nd Journey) - Don't Miss It

Requirements: Complete Expedition 1 or reach level 20.

Event Timeline:

Signup window: February 25 - March 1, 2026 UTC

Departure: March 1, 2026

Expedition 2 centers on the Caravan Project, which progresses through five commitment stages. Items committed are permanent, so careful planning is essential.

What Resets vs. What Stays

Resets: Inventory (items, weapons, resources), ARC Raiders Coins, Skill points (except bonus points), Raider level (resets to 1), ARC Raiders blueprints and Workshop benches, Raider Den upgrades/decorations, and Active quests.

Stays: Unlocked maps/regions, Workshop stations (require rebuilding), Codex entries, Creds/Raider Tokens, Raider Decks, Trials/leaderboards records, Cosmetics and trophy display, Permanent expedition rewards.

This system allows fresh gameplay without losing meaningful progress.

Caravan Project Stage Requirements

Stage 1: Base Structure and Frame

You need 150 Metal Parts, 200 Plastic Parts, 80 ARC Alloy, and 15 Steel Springs.

Farming Tips: Recycle debris or loot Ruined Riot Shields for Metal and Plastic Parts. Farm ARC enemies like Ticks and Pops in Dam, Spaceport, Buried City, or Blue Gate for ARC Alloy. Steel Springs are found in Dam turbine rooms or can be purchased from Celeste (10 per day for 6 Seeds each).

Stage 2: Wiring, Ventilation, Power

You need 35 Durable Cloth, 25 Wires, 20 Electrical Components, and 4 Cooling Coils.

Farming Tips: Durable Cloth can be crafted from 14 Fabric/Cloth or recycled from vests/cushions; Buried City Hospital also drops them. Wires are harvested from Dam Power Generation and Control Tower panels. Electrical Components can be crafted at a Refiner. Cooling Coils are a bottleneck, found in Dam Hydroponic Dome, Power Generation, Water Treatment, or at Spaceport Rocket Assembly.

Stage 3: Walls, Roof, Core Systems

You need 4 Light Bulbs, 30 Batteries, 10 Shredder Gyros, and 1 Exodus Module.

Farming Tips: Light Bulbs drop from car hoods in Dam Electrical Substation. Batteries come from recycled electronics or Stella Montis Control Room raids. Shredder Gyros require killing 10 Shredders in Stella Montis (Lobby, Metro, Business Center) using Trigger Nades and lure tactics. Exodus Modules are located in Stella Montis Assembly Workshop or Business Center, or can be bought from Celeste for 20 Seeds.

Stage 4: Storage, Workbenches, Utilities

You need 5 Frequency Modulation Boxes, 5 Advanced Electrical Components, 3 Ion Sputters, and 3 Leaper Pulse Units.

Farming Tips: Frequency Boxes and Ion Sputters can be looted in Stella Montis Assembly, Medical Research, or Business Center. Advanced Electrical Components are crafted at Level 2 Refiner using 5 Electrical Components each. Leaper Pulse Units drop from Leapers in Dam Hydroponic East or Water Treatment; target eyes and legs and bring heavy ammo.

Stage 5: Loading Supplies

Instead of specific items, Stage 5 requires coin-value commitments across four categories: Combat (250k coins), Survival (100k coins), Provisions (180k coins), and Materials (300k coins).

Farming Tips: Craft cheap items like Rattlers or Bandages for coin value. Collect trinkets, cards, and albums from Buried City. Extra stockpiles increase stash value during departure.

Departure and Stash Value

Stage 6 is departure. Caravan value is determined by stash and coins. Maximum is 3 million coins, translating to 5 Skill Points (1 per 600k). A minimum of 300k coins per SP is allowed for catch-up.

Max Stash Tips: Farm Dam/Spaceport fruits during Lush Bloom events (20-120k per run). Toolboxes and cabinets in Stella Montis (Medical Research or Assembly) yield 50-80k every 6-10 minutes. Recommended loadout: Shield Recharger, Raider Hatch Key, Looting Mk.2. Solo runs are safer; PvP zones yield more loot but involve higher risk.

Rewards and Buffs

Permanent Rewards:

Evolved Patchwork Raider outfit: 4 toggles, 2 colors

Scrappy Cosmetics

Upgraded Expedition Icon

Stash space increase from 12 → 24

Skill Points: 0-5 (catch-up included, maximum 85 total)

Temporary Buffs (Tier 2):

Repair Buff: 10-20% (or 60-70%)

XP Boost: 5-10%

Scrappy Materials Boost: 6-12%

Buffs stack consecutively but reset if a departure is skipped. Maximum stacking is 3x.

Strategies and Tips

Prioritize bottlenecks: Cooling Coils, Shredder Gyros, Ion Sputters, and Stella Montis runs.

Buy rare ARC Raiders items from Celeste using event Seeds to reduce farming pressure.

Solo runs are safer; PvP zones yield higher rewards but involve risk.

Consecutive departures allow stacking temporary buffs.

Track your progress using the Raider menu for stages and stash value.

Expedition 2 is a test of strategic planning, resource management, and combat efficiency. With careful preparation, attention to bottleneck items, and smart use of Celeste's shop, Raiders can maximize rewards, buffs, and stash value while climbing seasonal leaderboards.

Gear up, plan your Caravan, and embark on the 2nd Journey beyond Speranza!
