Logged in yet? You’re leaving 24 free Atlas points on the table. Breach—broken since league launch—is finally fixed. Spellcasters just got a massive shadow buff. And there’s a new chase gem that lets you reserve Health instead of Spirit. But here’s the real question: are you still farming Abyss? Because GGG just nuked it. Elite Abyss monsters now give less loot, less XP, and less damage. So what should you farm instead? Where should you spend those 24 new points? And how do you build around Zer’s Communion? Let’s cut through the patch notes.

“Wait, Free Points? Just for Logging In?” – Yes, Go Claim Them Now
Key points: 24 automatic Atlas points • No re-clearing needed • Targets swamp/desert biomes
You read that right. If you’ve ever cleared Fortress Towers, Gateways, or Enigma Chambers before June 4, the game hands you 24 new Atlas Passive points the moment you log in. No extra farming. No catch.
These points live in the top section of the Atlas tree and specifically boost biome maps—swamps and deserts get the juiciest new nodes.
What to do: Open your Atlas tree immediately. Respec toward your favorite biome. Swamp farmers just won the lottery.
“Abyss Is Dead?” – Yes. Stop Juicing It. Here’s Why
Key points: Elite Abyss nerfed • Less XP, less loot, less damage • Breach now outperforms
GGG took a sledgehammer to Elite Abyss monsters. Their life pools, damage, item drops, and XP outputs are all slashed. If your entire league strategy was hyper-juiced Abyss farming, you need a new plan today.
Two specific monsters also got hammered:
· Shepherd of the Pits → 70% less Lightning damage
· Meat Carver → 28% less overall damage
· What to do: Reroute your Atlas strategy toward Breach layouts. The fixes below make Breach the new king.
“Breach Finally Works?” – Yes. Three Fixes. Farm It Now
Key points: Rare monsters always spawn • Density stacks with Pack Size • Delirium Fog fixed
Breach was quietly broken. Not anymore.
Fix #1: Rare monsters now always deploy before the Rune appears—no more failed spawn triggers.
Fix #2: Monster Density modifier actually works and stacks additively with Pack Size.
Fix #3: Delirium Fog no longer spreads to Atlas-progression maps.
What to do: Stack Pack Size + Breach Density on your Atlas tree. Your currency output just scaled radically.
Spellcasters: “Wait, Attunement Supports Work on Spells Now?” – Yes. Rebuild Today
Key points: 25% extra elemental damage • Ice Bite & Innervate now support spells • 40 new passives
This is the quietest massive buff in the patch. Cold/Lightning/Fire Attunement Supports were attack-only before. Now they work on spells—each grants 25% of your damage as extra elemental damage.
Ice Bite (Cold on Freeze) and Innervate (25% extra Lightning on Shocked kill) also now support spells.
Plus, 40 new Elemental passives cluster near Jewel Sockets in Sorceress/Witch/Druid areas. Any build can access them via amulet anointing.
What to do: Rebuild your gem links. If you freeze or shock, you’re leaving ~25% damage on the table.
“Reserve Health Instead of Spirit?” – Meet Zer’s Communion (New Chase Gem)
Key points: Health reservation • Enables low-life Pain Attunement • Endgame drop only
Zer’s Communion is a new Lineage Support Gem (only one per character). It lets you reserve Health instead of Spirit for Spirit Skills.
Why this matters:
· Health pool is much larger than Spirit → run more skills
· Opens low-life builds with Pain Attunement (bonus spell damage on low life)
· What to do: Farm Breach for this drop. If you find or trade for it, rebuild around low-life instantly.
