Aion 2 Dec-23-2025 PST

Welcome to the world of Aion 2! Whether you are a veteran player familiar with the rifting mechanic or a newcomer eager to learn, this guide will explain rifting's significance and its evolved mechanics in Aion 2. As you progress through the game, understanding rifting is crucial for improving your character's power, especially after reaching level 45.

Understanding Rifting in Aion 2

What is Rifting

In Aion 2, rifting allows players to teleport between two distinct faction maps: Osmodians and Ilios. At the start of your journey, you'll choose a faction, which determines the map you will primarily play on. Each faction has its own unique territory, and rifting enables players to explore the opposing faction’s area.

Rifting Schedule

Rifts appear every 3 hours, translating to eight opportunities per day for players to utilize them. Make sure to keep track of when these rifts open. For the current rift schedule and timers in servers like Korea and Taiwan, check dedicated videos on the channel that provide precise scheduling information.

How to Rift

1. Locate the Rift: When it's time for a rift to open, keep an eye out for a purple marker on your map. You will need to zoom in to see it clearly.

2. Getting There: Once you've identified the rift's location, hurry over because there is a time limit to enter. Players have a fixed window (10 minutes) to use the rift once it opens, and only a certain number of players can enter (usually around 400).

3. Interacting with the Rift: Once you arrive at the rift, interact with it to teleport to the enemy faction's map.

Important to Note: PvE and PvP Flagging System

In Aion 2, the rifting system includes a flagging mechanic that allows players to choose between PvE (Player vs. Environment) and PvP (Player vs. Player) modes. Currently, most players are opting for PvE, limiting direct conflict with other players of the opposing faction.

Exploring the Enemy Faction Map

After rifting, players can explore numerous opportunities for enhancing their character’s power:

1. Hidden Dungeons: Both factions have hidden dungeons that yield valuable materials which help improve character skills. Each faction has its unique hidden dungeons—in total, there are 60 dungeons associated with the enemy faction.

2. Strongholds: Just like hidden dungeons, strongholds in the enemy map provide crucial upgrading materials for items like belts and amulets. Discovering these areas is essential for character progression.

Material Acquisition

Exploring the enemy faction map is vital for progressing your character’s combat power, you will get more Aion 2 Kinah and Items. Engaging with hidden dungeons and strongholds can yield the following benefits:

· Donian Books: Use these to improve your Donian skills.

· Upgrading Materials: Enhance your belt and amulet, which are crucial for improving your combat capabilities.

Safety Considerations

While in the opposing faction’s territory, you need to be cautious of guard NPCs. They can attack and kill players regardless of the PvP flag status. Be aware of your surroundings and avoid guards while you focus on completing objectives.

The Importance of Rifting

Rifting in Aion 2 is crucial after reaching level 45. It provides opportunities not only to explore the enemy territory but also to improve your character’s power through hidden dungeons and strongholds. While the original game emphasized open-world PvP, Aion 2’s rifting system currently leans more towards PvE experiences.
