Aion 2: Complete Guide to Shop Priorities
What's up, people? Many of you have been asking what to buy in the various shops throughout Aion 2. The Nightmare Shop, the Shugo Festival Shop, the Seasonal Shop, the Abyss Shop—each offers limited items, and knowing what to prioritize makes the difference between optimal progression and wasted currency.
This guide provides clear strategies for each shop, tailored for both PvE and PvP players.
Shugo Festival Shop
The Shugo Festival Shop offers several valuable items, but your priorities should be clear.
First Priority: Dwanium Crystal Books
These are the most important items in the Shugo Festival Shop. Dwanium crystals are essential for multiple progression systems. Purchase these before anything else.
Second Priority: Windstones (Skill Points)
Skill points determine your power. The Windstones in this shop provide valuable skill point resources. After securing your Dwanium crystals, focus on these.
Third Priority: Wings
Wings are critically important in Aion 2. You do not need to wear them to benefit—each wing in your collection provides bonus stats passively. Check your collection stats to see the cumulative bonuses. The stat gains from wings are amazing and should not be overlooked.
After Priorities Are Complete
Once you have purchased the Dwanium crystals, skill points, and wings, you have options:
Save for Next Season: If the shop may refresh with new items, save your remaining Shugo tokens.
Purchase Skins: Skins provide both visual appeal and passive stats. They are not merely cosmetic—they contribute to your character's power.
Generate Kinah with Alts: Purchase crafting materials and craft artifacts to sell. This provides an excellent opportunity to generate Aion 2 Kinah.
Items to Avoid
The Pet: This pet was previously available in the Diver Shop. It is not a priority purchase.
Soul Bind Crystals and Pet Souls: One hundred pet souls for 200 currency is not efficient. Your currency is better spent on the priorities listed above.
Nightmare Shop
The Nightmare Shop requires careful consideration because its items are expensive, and some are overpriced for their value.
Current Pricing Issue
The reset skill books in the Nightmare Shop are highly overrated at their current price. If the price dropped to approximately 2,000 per book weekly, that would be reasonable. At current prices, these books are a poor investment.
First Priority: Skill Points
As with the Shugo Festival Shop, skill points come first. You need a significant number of skill points to maximize your skills. Purchase these before anything else.
Second Priority: Arcana Books
For PvE players specifically, Arcana books are highly important. These should be your second priority after securing skill points.
Third Priority: Wings
Again, wings appear as a top priority. The passive stats from wings accumulate and provide substantial power. I am personally planning to purchase the large wing from this shop.
Fourth Priority: Statues
Statues are relatively inexpensive and worth purchasing once your higher priorities are secured. Do not spend recklessly on expensive items before covering your basics.
Fifth Priority: Skins and Tattoos
Skins provide passive stats in addition to visual customization. I personally purchased a skin for the visual appeal—it looks excellent. However, from a rational, min-max perspective, skins come after skill points, Arcana books, and wings.

In Season One, the Seasonal Shop offered Dwanium crystals (five available for purchase). In Season Two, these crystals were removed. If you are a new player, be aware that this option no longer exists.
Second Priority: Kinah Generation
After purchasing the wing, your next priority depends on your goals:
For Kinah: Purchase Aion 2 items that can be recrafted and sold. This provides substantial Kinah returns.
For Progression: Purchase pet chests. These are valuable for pet collection progression.
For Cosmetic Enthusiasts: Purchase skins. However, note that skins in the Seasonal Shop are extremely expensive if you do not reach the top tiers at season end. Consider this before committing your currency.
Abyss Shop
The Abyss Shop utilizes Abyss Points (AP) earned through PvP content.
Farming Abyss Points
