FIFA 23 guide with all you need for Ultimate Team, Career Mode and beyondFIFA 23
FIFA 23 has arrived, and as usual, there's plenty of football for this season. After 30 years of collaboration with football's governing body, this is EA's final game in the series. It all starts again next year with EA Sports FC. Thankfully, the game is finishing strong, and we have a number of tips for Ultimate Team, Gameplay, Career mode, and more below.
FIFA 23 Career mode
The traditional career mode in the FIFA series is back again with this year's title. It features a scouting setup, a new transfer system, and various new additions to the team lineup. In the previous version, you had to develop your manager from scratch, and for the most part, things didn't go well in that regard. With this new game, you can now use real managers for your football. Each manager is better at something, and you can hire them according to your goals and the budget of your club.
FIFA 23 Formations
When it comes to formations in FIFA 23, the approach is usually just like every year, but there are a few new additions. While keeping in mind the needs of players, new strategic alternative formations are added to FIFA 23. When asked by the gaming community, they will be selecting some specific formation in most cases. There are four best formations that most players will be using for their careers.
The 5-2-1-2 formation is your best chance if you want to counter all the attacking players of the other team. With this formation, you will have more than a seventy percent chance of winning a match if everything goes well. To keep your attack, you should use wing backs. For this formation, you will need wingbacks with a high attacking rate and good stamina. The best player for this formation is Alphonso Davies, and you should train other players according to him.
With the 4-1-2-1-2 narrow formation, you will be controlling the tempo of the game. To keep the ball under your control, you should be a physical attacker. You will need passing in this formation so having a good midfield is necessary. CAM with good balance, control over the ball, and agility skills are good.
4-3-3 is a flat attacking formation for born attackers. You need a strong defense with this formation; otherwise, the opposing team will use this vulnerability to their advantage. Use a striker to work in the backward direction. You need a good forward, or else this formation becomes ineffective for the most part. Use two wingers with acceleration, a four-star weak foot, and skill moves to enjoy the magic of this formation.
4-2-2-2 is a formation that features a lot of strikers. You can do a lot of conceding with the 4-2-2-2 formation. It holds back on speed, but you can add a high dribbling CAM to cover up in that area. With two CDMs in the team who have a low work rate of attacks, strong defenses, and strong physical stats can do wonders with this formation, and you should get ready to wear medals.
In the previous FIFA titles, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi were topping the charts for years now, but it has finally changed in FIFA 23. This time, a new player named Karim is topping the chart instead. Cristiano Ronaldo isn't on the list of the top seven players this year. Here are the three best players that you can play with in FIFA 23.
1. Karim Benzema (CF, Real Madrid) – 91
Real Madrid lifted the Champions League cup for the first time in four years last season. Karim Benzema's goals were the root cause of this win, as he scored fifteen times in twelve European games. The reward for this good performance came in the form of the highest-rated Ultimate Team card in the game. He features 83 Passing, 88 Shooting, and 87 Dribbling. At this rate, you can expect a 99-rated special item before the season ends.
2. Robert Lewandowski (ST, Barcelona) – 91
After more than two hundred and thirty goals in two hundred and fifty games, along with eight years of struggle, Robert Lewandowski finally made it to the top list. In FIFA 23, he gets second place in the list of best players. He offers 89 Physicality, 94 Positioning, and 94 Finishing.
3. Kylian Mbappé (ST, Paris SG) – 91
While Kylian Mbappé is ranked third, his ninety-seven Pace rating means that no player will be more expensive during this year's game - at least among active players. Unlike Lewa and Benzema, Kylian Mbappé has won any Champions league till now, but he is a strong contender to become the new French football icon.
