Forza Horizon 6 Series 3 Update: Italian Exotics Arrive, AI Overhauled, and Rivals Leaderboards Reset
Italian Exotics Festival Adds New Supercars
The biggest highlight of Series 3 is the arrival of the Italian Exotics Festival, bringing some of Italy's most iconic automotive creations to Horizon Japan.
The Festival Playlist will introduce three new-to-Horizon vehicles over the next few weeks:
2024 Lamborghini Temerario
2022 Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder
1984 De Tomaso Pantera GT5
These FH6 Cars offer a mix of modern hybrid performance, open-top supercar excitement, and classic Italian muscle. Players can unlock them through Festival Playlist rewards, adding more variety to road racing events and personal collections.
In addition, the Italian Passion Car Pack expands the garage even further with four new Italian machines:
2025 Ferrari F80
1967 Ferrari 275 GTB4 Spider
2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm
1990 Alfa Romeo SE 048SP
Premium Edition owners receive the pack at no additional cost, while other players can purchase it separately by Forza Horizon 6 Credits.
The update also brings an Italian-themed Aftermarket Takeover at Horizon Stadium, new EventLab props, additional Car Pass vehicles, and new collectibles to discover around the map.
AI Racing Gets Major Improvements
Series 3 also focuses on improving the overall racing experience by adjusting AI behavior.
One of the biggest complaints from players was that AI drivers could behave aggressively during corners, often causing unnecessary collisions. The new update improves AI corner entry behavior to reduce these frustrating crashes and create cleaner races.
The changes should make single-player events feel more competitive and realistic, especially for players racing on higher difficulty settings. Instead of relying on AI mistakes, racers will need better driving lines, braking control, and tuning setups to secure victories.
Rivals Leaderboards Completely Reset
Competitive players will notice the most dramatic change: all Rivals leaderboards have been reset.
Playground Games explained that the reset was necessary because some leaderboard times were created using exploits, glitches, or outdated physics advantages, including the use of Drag Tires before previous balance changes. The goal is to provide a clean starting point where all players compete under the current rules.
Although legitimate lap times were removed from the rankings, players will keep any Collection Journal rewards they previously earned through Rivals events.
The reset gives competitive racers a fresh opportunity to climb the rankings, test new vehicle setups, and establish new records with the updated physics system.
More Fixes and Quality-of-Life Improvements
Beyond cars and leaderboards, Series 3 includes numerous improvements:
Better audio controls with separate Speech Volume and GPS settings
New exhaust sounds for selected vehicles, including the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Ferrari 296 GTB
Fixes for EventLab, Convoy, Hide & Seek, Monthly Rivals, and PR Stunt issues
Visual improvements for exhaust effects, paint finishes, liveries, and character clothing
Final Thoughts
The Forza Horizon 6 Series 3 Update is more than just another car expansion. Italian Exotics brings some of the world's most desirable supercars, while AI improvements and leaderboard changes make the racing experience more competitive and enjoyable.
With fresh vehicles to unlock, cleaner races against improved AI, and a brand-new Rivals competition, Series 3 gives both casual drivers and hardcore racers a perfect reason to return to Horizon Japan.
