You'll encounter Viper Napuatzi during the "Glory of the Vaal" questline. After completing the Temple of Kopec and unlocking the gateway through time, you'll find yourself exploring the ruins of Utzaal, a dense, overgrown region filled with remnants of the Vaal Empire.
As you push deeper into the area, the environment becomes increasingly hostile. The jungle narrows, and Vaal soldiers begin to close in on you from every direction. Eventually, you'll reach an ancient clearing where Napuatzi awaits, surrounded by her loyal guards, standing as the final obstacle before the gates of Aggorat.
This is not a battle you can rush into. Prepare your build, flask setup, and mobility skills before stepping through that threshold.
What Makes Viper Napuatzi Dangerous
Napuatzi combines overwhelming area-of-effect damage, poison over time, and positional pressure to suffocate players in a shrinking arena. Unlike many other bosses in Path of Exile 2, she's designed to limit your movement options as the fight progresses, forcing quick decision-making and consistent mobility.
She also boasts high elemental and physical resistances, meaning raw brute force won't cut it. Instead, focus on chaos damage, armor penetration, and damage-over-time effects that bypass her formidable defenses.

Phase One: Surviving the Opening Barrage
