Some AION 2 players missed their Shugo Keys and Nightmare Tickets when the daily reset arrived on October 25, 2026. NC acknowledged the problem and said it was investigating. The official reset notice still described an investigation when checked on October 26, with no confirmed fix or compensation specifically for the missing recharge.

Separately, NC announced restrictions against 12,586 accounts for policy violations in an enforcement action dated October 23 PDT / October 24 CEST. That announcement also explains temporary security locks, which require a different response from players. Neither notice establishes a connection between account enforcement and the reset failure.

AION 2 Daily Reset Bug: Missing Shugo Keys and 12,586 Account Restrictions

Missing Shugo Keys and Nightmare Ticket

Who the Reset Issue Affects

NC's October 25 notice confirms that some AION 2 players did not receive Shugo Keys and Nightmare Tickets during the morning daily reset, described in CET. It does not identify every affected server or say that all players missed their recharge. Check your own balances before assuming the problem applies to your character.

If your Shugo Key or Nightmare Ticket counter remains empty after the expected reset, check the next recharge timer and record your current balance. These entry resources are tracked separately from AION 2 Kina, so a normal currency balance does not confirm that the missing recharge arrived.

A timer already counting down to the following day does not necessarily mean the missed allowance was restored. The timer and the available balance answer different questions: when another recharge is scheduled, and what you can use now.

Also check the maximum shown for that resource. A counter already at its cap will not gain more from the normal daily refill.

If you had room below the cap before reset, received no recharge and have not spent those resources since, record that sequence. A zero balance alone cannot distinguish a missed refill from resources already used.

October 25 player reports included Odar, Lumiel and Siel in Europe, with some also reporting other missing entry resources. Those reports do not establish that every server or resource was affected; NC's notice specifically names Shugo Keys and Nightmare Tickets.

Fix Status and Compensation

As of the October 26 check, NC's official reset notice still reports an investigation, with no confirmed fix, player-side workaround or compensation specifically for the missing October 25 recharge.

It also does not say whether the next reset will work normally or whether the missed October 25 allowance will be restored. Check those outcomes separately. A successful later refill would confirm that refill worked; it would not, by itself, show that the earlier shortfall had been credited.

If your balance rises, compare the increase with the normal refill shown in your current game interface before treating it as a replacement for yesterday's resources.

European servers underwent separate maintenance for the change from CEST to CET on October 25. That maintenance was marked complete and included compensation, but NC has not identified the clock change as the cause of the recharge issue.

The maintenance package also does not establish that missing daily keys or tickets have been replaced. Its mail expires after seven days, so eligible recipients should check that delivery separately.

Documenting a Missing Recharge

Record your Shugo Key and Nightmare Ticket balances, the affected character and server, and when you noticed the missing October 25 recharge. Capture the timer alongside the balance where possible, and note any resources spent after reset so the report explains the shortfall.

Screenshots can help document the discrepancy if you contact support. These are reporting suggestions, not an announced requirement for compensation.

Check the official AION 2 announcements for an update specifically addressing the daily reset issue. A maintenance completion message or a separate compensation delivery does not confirm that this recharge problem has been resolved.

Restrictions against 12,586 Accounts

AION 2 Open World Grinding Combat Gameplay

Activities Named in the Notice

NC lists the enforcement time as October 23 at 17:00 PDT / October 24 at 02:00 CEST. The total is 12,586 restricted accounts. The announcement does not specify that every restriction is permanent or give a single penalty duration for the entire group.

The AION 2 notice identifies macros, bots and other unauthorized programs; organized play patterns consistent with gold farming or real-money trading (RMT); and abnormal trading that disrupts the economy.

These enforcement measures also address unauthorized activities involving AION 2 Kina, rather than ordinary gameplay. NC does not publish detection thresholds for individual accounts.

What Normal Grinding Means Here

NC explicitly says normal play, including long grinding sessions, is unaffected by this enforcement action. Spending hours manually fighting enemies and earning AION 2 Kina through regular gameplay does not, by itself, establish a policy violation.

Restrictions follow a policy review. If you believe yours is incorrect, request an individual review through Customer Support.

Temporary Security Locks Explained

Some AION 2 accounts were separately locked after access from a device or connection raised a security concern, such as possible account compromise. These precautionary locks protect the account and its items while the situation is checked. NC says it is not a penalty.

Being unable to sign in does not establish that your account was among the 12,586 restrictions. Check the wording of your account notification to see which situation applies. For a security lock, contact Customer Support to verify access and arrange restoration. NC gives no automatic unlock deadline.

Support for Restricted or Locked Accounts

Read the account message before choosing how to report the problem. For a suspected incorrect restriction, submit a review request through AION 2 Customer Support. For a security lock, explain that you need help verifying account access.

Include the notification wording and the time the problem began so support can identify the case. NC says requests are reviewed individually; it has not promised a response time or guaranteed that a restriction will be reversed.
