The biggest question for players is knowing which items deserve valuable gear slots and which should go straight to the salvage pile.

One important detail is that the new Season 15 items can also appear in Mythic variants. A Mythic version can provide a 30% increase to the item's special power, making already-powerful effects even stronger. Because of this, some items that look merely good in their normal form can become extremely valuable when upgraded to Mythic quality.

Leoric’s Crown Is the Season 15 Must-Have

If there is one item that stands above the rest, it is Leoric’s Crown. Based on Season 15 PTR testing, this helmet is potentially the strongest universal item available because it can benefit virtually every build.

Leoric’s Crown counts as a jewelry item, while anything socketed into it is also treated as jewelry. This dramatically increases the effects of certain gems and Season 15's new socketable options.

For example, one new effect can provide 35% Attack Speed and Critical Strike Chance, while also increasing resource costs. When placed into Leoric’s Crown, the effect can jump to 70%, and a Mythic version can push it even higher.

That level of Attack Speed and Critical Strike Chance is extremely difficult to obtain from a single item. Even builds that normally depend on a Unique helmet may consider using Leoric’s Crown as a Charm instead. For players pushing leaderboards, this looks like one of the most important items to chase in Season 15.

Squirt’s Necklace Offers Huge Damage With a Risk

Squirt’s Necklace is another standout item, particularly for endgame damage-focused builds. Its special effect increases both damage dealt and damage taken while you remain unharmed.

The normal version can provide up to 50% increased damage, while the Mythic version can reach approximately 65%. The downside is that the bonus resets when you lose Life.

Nemesis Bracers Are Mostly a Farming Tool

Nemesis Bracers are much harder to recommend.
