Finding the Green Key
Green keys are found by looting rare and very rare valuable safes, and by unlocking locked valuable boxes. These are scattered across the map in high-tier locations. Once you have a green key, the upgrade process begins.
Step 1: Green Key → Blue Key – Kaiserplatz
Your first destination is Kaiserplatz. Once you arrive, look for the large mansion at the highest point of the city. It is impossible to miss—this is the building you need to enter. Inside, take your first left. You will see the green door.
Use your green key to unlock it. Inside the room, the blue key will be on the main desk. Pick it up to upgrade from green to blue.
Room loot: The room contains various valuables, though the key is the primary prize. Grab anything useful before leaving.
Step 2: Blue Key → Red Key – Miersburg
With the blue key in hand, make your way to Miersburg. Do not go to the main city area. Instead, look for a small port on the side of the city. This is where you will find the blue door.
Use the blue key to enter. Inside, you will find the red key. Pick it up to upgrade from blue to red.
Room loot: The blue room contains a blue revolver, high-grade gunpowder, very rare parts, rare weapon parts, and two boxes of fish. Not the most spectacular loot, but worthwhile.
Step 3: Red Key → White Key – Segan
Now you need to go to Segan. If Segan is not in your current world, you will need to extract and re-queue with the red key in your inventory.
Once at Segan, locate the bank. Enter and go to the third floor. The red door is here. Use the red key to unlock it. Inside, you will find the white key.
Room loot: This room offers better loot than the previous ones, though the white key is the main objective.
Step 4: White Key → Black Key – Fort Istra
Your final destination is Fort Istra. Locate the front of the building. There will be two red doors that you need to blow open. Use C4, your ship's cannons, or any explosive to breach them.
Once inside, look to the right—there is another red door. Blow it open as well. Go down the stairs and you will see the white door. Use the white key to unlock it.
Inside this room, you will find the black key. This is a guaranteed spawn—you will always find it here. The black key is arguably the strongest item in the game because it grants access to the Dreadnought's best loot room.

Using the Black Key – The Dreadnought
Once you have the black key, you need to be inside Storm Drive and locate the Dreadnought. Before you open the black door, destroy everyone in your lobby.
Why You Need to Clear the Lobby
The Dreadnought contains so much loot that you need as much time as possible to loot it. If other players are alive, they will contest the area or camp the extraction point. Clear the lobby first, then loot in peace.
Finding the Dreadnought
The Dreadnought spawns in the final two zones. It looks like a large, destroyed battleship. Once you reach it, break open any red door to get inside.
Inside the Dreadnought
The black door is inside. Use your black key to unlock it. The room behind it is packed with experimental items, including:
Experimental rocket launcher
Crystals
Experimental 70mm cannon
Additional Loot Locations
Storage room doors: These require a fort storage key. To get one, go to any fort in the world and look on top of boxes—they are sitting there visibly.
The red door room: Hidden behind a red door in the Dreadnought, this room is accessible every game without any key. It contains a guaranteed experimental cannon and experimental item.
Under the radio extraction: Check under the radio where you call for extraction. There is usually one or two experimental items here.
Stay Alert
Ironclads can still spawn while you are looting the Dreadnought. Keep your weapon ready.
Extraction Timing
Call the extraction with approximately 5 minutes left to ensure the storm does not catch up and destroy your trampler.
