Drake Kraken Is Moving Forward
The Drake Kraken is another major project, but its release target is much further away. It is planned for May 2027 as part of Fleet Week and Drake DefenseCon.
The Kraken is essentially a mobile carrier and support base, combining:
· Ship and vehicle rearming
· Repair and refueling
· Medical facilities
· Cargo space
· A Dragonfly bay
· Carrier-style gameplay potential
Its recent development report showed strong progress. Exterior paneling, materials, and detailing are being completed, while areas such as the bridge and hangar are moving toward their final visual standards.
Despite this progress, the May 2027 target suggests that CIG is not rushing the ship toward release.
Anvil Liberator Could Arrive in 2027
The Anvil Liberator is also progressing through production. This large open-air transporter is designed to function as a light carrier capable of carrying multiple ships and ground vehicles.
CIG reported that much of the interior was being refined while major thrusters, maneuvering thrusters, and landing gear had been integrated.
The next stage focuses on additional technical details and Anvil's distinctive manufacturing style. Based on the current development stage, an early-to-mid 2027 release looks more plausible than a 2026 launch.
Several Unannounced Vehicles Are Nearly Finished
The most interesting part of the latest development report concerns ships that CIG has not officially announced.
One unannounced ship reportedly completed its final pass in August, with painting and bug fixing underway. Two other vehicles received their final materials and paint work ahead of release.
Three additional unannounced vehicles are also progressing:

· Another has large interior areas nearing LOD 0.
· A third is already in the final stages, with painting and bug fixing underway.
This means several unknown ships or vehicles could appear much sooner than expected.
New Constellation and Crafting Ships
There is also speculation surrounding a possible new RSI Constellation variant, potentially connected to a Mark V design. Recent teasers have encouraged speculation that CIG could reveal it around the October Squadron 42 event or at IAE.
Crafting technology could unlock several other interesting vehicles. The Anvil Auxilia, MXC MFC, and Consolidated Outland Forge are all tied to fabrication and cargo-grid technology.

An Origin medium fighter has been rumored for some time and would fill a gap between the company's light fighters and heavier combat ships. There has also been speculation about a Mustang-hull Grey Market ship, a Xi'an vehicle, and a Drake heavy fighter.
Meanwhile, older projects such as the Pioneer, Legionnaire, and Banu Merchantman remain largely absent from recent development news.
