Summary

Many players assume that Character Power (CP) in Aion 2 comes mostly from gear. It doesn't. A completely naked character still sits at over 107,000 CP, while a fully geared one reaches roughly 195,000. That means more than half of your power comes from "horizontal content" — permanent progression you cannot buy with kinah, which is why trying to buy Aion 2 Kina won't fix a low CP score. This guide breaks down every non-gear source in priority order.

Aion 2 Character Power Guide: How to Increase CP Fast Without Better Gear

1. Daevanion Boards: The Highest-Priority Permanent Growth

The Daevanion board is one of the most efficient CP systems. Every crystal you slot adds direct CP and unlocks permanent stats or skill levels. The first four boards (Nezekan, Zikel, Vaizel, Triniel) share normal Daevanion points; the Azphel board uses separate crystals.

Routing rules: Skip defense nodes entirely. Prioritize attack, crit, and skill-level nodes. Small nodes (3 attack, 5 crit, etc.) add up fast. The level 16 and level 20 breakpoints give more than regular nodes and are worth pathing toward. Use character guides or board-planning websites to optimize your route — though double-check their output, as automated tools can occasionally be wrong.

Crystal sources:

Nightmare — easiest to max early; buy these crystals before Stigma trades.

Shugo shop — buy the first two tiers first, then Stigma shards, then return to Daevanion crystals.

Sealed dungeons — 2 crystals per first clear.

Regional side quests — 1 crystal each.

Abyss shop — available, but lower priority than Stigma shards.

2. Stigma Shards: The Single Biggest Chunk

Stigma is one of the largest CP contributors in the game. Measured directly: removing one level-20 Stigma dropped CP from 195.4K to 182.9K — about 13,000 CP lost from a single skill. Four level-20 Stigmas is a massive swing.

Shard sources and priority:

Source

Amount

Notes

Abyss

Up to 200

Four tiers, 50 each

Shugo shop

35

Shugo currency

Nightmare shop

35

Phantom shards

Abyss's 200 shards dwarf the combined 70 from Shugo and Nightmare, making it the clear main source. No PvP required: group as a five-man team and kill Abyss PvE mobs for a few hours. More importantly, Abyss corridors: if your faction wins the siege and holds corridors, you can teleport in and run a 2-minute PvE mini-game for up to 30,000 Abyss points each. Two corridors = 4 minutes for 60,000 points. Corridors reset after siege (typically Wednesday, Saturday, Monday).

Key warning: Don't park your main in the Abyss farming Odell for currency. Odell income is fine, but your main's Stigma progress directly caps your CP, and that priority comes first.

3. Pets and Genus Boards: The Account-Wide Sleeper Hits

Every Cognney pet leveled to 3 grants +1 Might and +2 Crit. Every natural pet grants +1 Precision (accuracy plus crit). With a large roster of maxed pets, these small stats compound into real CP.

The Genus board (all five boards at level 10) grants damage boost, attack, crit, and accuracy — and it's account-wide, so alts benefit too. Maxing all boards also unlocks one of the best titles in the game: 4.5% damage boost + 1% PvE damage, 5.5% total, applied to every character on the account.

4. Abyss Points and the Abyss System

Beyond Stigma shards, the Abyss feeds other CP-adjacent gains. Faction members who win sieges gain corridor access for large point payouts. Even without PvP, you can earn Abyss points steadily through:

Supply requests — 380 to 6,000 points each, scaled to item grade.

Daily quests — five per day, 1,000–2,000 base points each.

Arena participation — one match each in 1v1, 2v2, and 10v10 nets roughly 9,000 free points per week.

5. Arcana Cards: Wait Until 2,500 Item Level

Do not farm Arcana early. At 2,500 item level you unlock the final tier of Transcendence dungeons, which drop a legendary card nearly every run (often multiple). Legendary cards massively outclass purple and green cards, so spamming Arcana before 2.5K is inefficient.

Each card upgrade raises the associated skill level, and the level 16 and 20 breakpoints add extra CP. Long-term goal: every card at level 5.

6. Pantheon Statues: The Nightmare Statue Is a Big Jump

Every painting and statue in the Pantheon panel grants permanent stats. Many players are still running the default statue (35 Justice / 35 Time), while the Nightmare statue offers 45 / 45 plus attack, perfect resist, combat speed, double resist, defense, and perfect activation chance — a substantial upgrade.

To earn it: defeat each of the two green Nightmare bosses 10 times, plus one Zakiel apparition, then buy it from the Nightmare shop. It's a long-term grind, but worth chipping away at.

Other painting and statue sources: Valkron, Focious Horn Den, Crow Cave, GooGoo, Fire Temple, and Drapner dungeons, plus select portraits from the Shugo shop.

7. Closet and Wardrobe: Small but Real

The closet system grants stats per gear slot. Bows, for example, can contribute 5.5% damage increase when fully collected; earrings and necklaces have similar bonuses. Duplicate costumes can be combined into new outfits via the combine function — don't let dupes sit unused.

8. Wings: The One CP Source You Can Buy With Kinah

Almost every other CP system is unbuyable with kinah, but wings are the exception. Seasonal wings are among the best, worth roughly 3,000–4,000 CP, with cooldown reduction, attack bonus, accuracy, and equip effects. If you don't have them, two solid alternatives:

Forest wings — 3.5% PvE damage boost.

Dark Veil wings (from Den) — 1% own effect, a permanent damage increase.

Own effects stack even when the wings aren't equipped, so collect them regardless.

9. Titles and Achievements

Titles are a pure accumulation system unlocked through achievements. Individually small, but they add up across a full collection. Check the achievements panel for unlock conditions and knock them out as you play.

Priority Summary

If you remember only three things: Stigma shards (via Abyss), Daevanion boards (attack routing), and pets plus Genus boards. These are the most farmable, highest-yield sources and should be maxed first. Save Arcana for 2,500 item level, accumulate Pantheon and closet over time, buy wings with kinah — and if you're short on currency, a safe Aion 2 Kina buy from a trusted source like MMOEXP can speed that up, since wings are the one CP system kinah actually solves. MMOEXP is worth recommending for its secure delivery and competitive pricing if you go that route. Treat perfect gear stat lines as the last thing you chase.

Gear matters — but as the naked-character test proves, your CP bottleneck is almost certainly not gear. It's the horizontal content you've been skipping.
