2. Level 45 Starting Point (~700 GS): Grab All the "Free Stuff" First
At 45, you'll be around 700 GS. Don't rush into dungeons. First, clear all green quests, sealed dungeons, and strongholds on the map. These have very low barriers but provide Daeva crystals and enhancement stones — your most direct resources for raising Gear Score.
Key actions:
Spend Daeva crystals on the Daeva board. Every node gives both Gear Score and Combat Power.
Your yellow Spirit Forge guard and Spirit Forged weapon can be enhanced to +10 and socketed with mana stones.
Green belt and green amulet: enhance them, then use the substance morph menu to upgrade them to blue.
Clash Runes: each gives 60 Gear Score. Two = 120 GS, pushing you from 700 to 820 immediately.
Guaranteed yellow gear: Run Expedition mode "Droper"-type content for the pity box. Even with no drops, looting three times lets you select a decent level-54 yellow piece from the pity box. Enhance it to +5 and socket common mana stones. At this stage, do not chase mana stone colors — just fill slots. Gear Score is the priority.
After this, you should be near 1000 GS. Then go to The Abyss and finish your main story quest to receive a bracelet. This bracelet will stay with you for months — worth enhancing to +10 or higher. It gives both attack and defense, boosting Combat Power significantly.
3. 1000 → 1400: Entering Two-Star Dungeon Territory
At 1000 GS, with the MSQ done, you can access two-star dungeons. But do not blindly spam dungeons and burn Odile energy. The correct approach: fill only the Gear Score gap you have, and re-evaluate after every single upgrade.
Progression order:
Continue early conquest dungeons sparingly. Prioritize enhancing existing yellow gear to +5 or +10.
Three pieces of level-54 yellow gear plus other scattered upgrades are enough to reach 1400.
Festival events (like Sug Festival) — always participate. The festival shop has extra Daeva crystals.
Nightmare content white bosses — early versions are around 1000 GS and doable.
Upgrading belt and amulet from blue to yellow is a big Gear Score jump. The main source of enhancement stones is the rift that spawns every 3 hours — travel to the opposing faction's map and run their strongholds and sealed dungeons for large amounts of enhancement stones.
4. 1400 → 1600: Pity Boxes Are Your Friend
After 1400, return to Expedition mode and run "Vakron Sky Island" three times for the pity box. Pick the biggest upgrade. If you get lucky with extra drops, even better.
Another path is Urugu Canyon (the 1400-tier conquest dungeon). It drops accessories and weapons — but weapons are all-class drops, so you need luck. If a weapon drops, that's a massive upgrade.
By 1600, your setup should look roughly like: multiple level 54–70 yellow pieces (+5 to +10), weapon at +11, MSQ bracelet, yellow belt and amulet, green/white mana stones only.
5. 1600 → 1800 → 2000: Transcendence and Arcana Cards
At 1600 GS, Transcendence opens, bringing the Arcana card system. Cards directly grant Gear Score and are the core of this bracket.
The math is very simple:
Each green Arcana card gives 40 Gear Score. Five slots all green = 200 GS.
1600 + 200 = 1800.
Replacing green cards with blue gives +20 per card, ×5 = another 100 GS.
1800 + 100 = 1900; with minor tuning, you reach 2000.
So from 1600 to 2000, you don't need to grind dungeons obsessively. Your main job is: farm Transcendence, swap white cards for green, then green for blue.
6. 2000 → 2100: Back to Expedition for Upgrades
Blue cards carry you to 2000. The next threshold is 2100. The easiest source is replacing old gear in Expedition mode. Using Vakron as an example: swapping a blue cloak for a Vakron yellow cloak gives 20–30 extra Gear Score, plus an extra mana stone slot for further gains.
Even if you already have some yellow pieces, replacing old yellows with new ones still offers 20+ Gear Score per slot.
7. 2100 → 2800: Crafting and Breakthrough Begin
After 2100, you enter the true endgame loop. Several key changes happen here:
1. Dungeon gear enhancement requires "breakthrough"
Yellow gear can be enhanced past +15 using Amplify Stones for five more stages. But you don't need to push all dungeon gear to +20 — start redirecting resources toward crafted gear.
2. Crafted gear is the ultimate goal
Crafted gear not only has higher base item level (up to 94, even 102, far beyond dungeon drop 86), but it's also the only gear 100% worth investing mana stones and soul stones into. Start with a crafted necklace, then a ring, then the weapon. Save all crafting materials from now on.
3. Keep pushing Arcana
Transcendence stage three unlocks yellow Arcana to replace blue, but at this point you more urgently need to push gear enhancement past +15 to +20, which requires Amplify Stones.
4. New dungeons and expeditions

8. Additional Sources of Combat Power
