The AION 2 Halloween Event is live on global servers. Claim the Trick or Treat attendance rewards and save 250 Halloween Pumpkin Coins for the Special Halloween Chest, which contains the Spooky Scary Skeleton breastplate skin and 10,000 Pet Soul Crystals.
All 14 attendance rewards total 620 coins, so you can secure the chest through attendance alone.
Dungeon runs provide a separate reward route: collect Candy Key Fragments, then spend 60 on a Red, Yellow, or Blue Candy Key. Your choice determines whether you receive pet materials, Abyss Points, or Odyle Energy. The event ends before maintenance on November 3, 2026 (PST), in North America and November 4 (CET) in Europe.
How to Get Halloween Pumpkin Coins
Halloween Pumpkin Coins are an event currency separate from AION 2 Kina. Earn them through Trick or Treat attendance and the missions under Season Mission > Event. Attendance provides 620 coins across 14 rewards; completing all ten event missions adds 235 coins per week per server.
If your goal is the skeleton breastplate, reserve 250 coins before spending at the Coin Merchant. The chest requires level 10 and is limited to one per server.
Claim the Attendance Rewards
Open the in-game menu, select Attendance, and find Trick or Treat. Days 1 through 6 and 8 through 13 each award 35 coins. Days 7 and 14 each award 100, giving a total of 12 × 35 + 2 × 100 = 620.
The first six rewards provide 210 coins; claiming reward seven brings that to 310, enough for the chest if you have saved your coins. Claim your attendance reward whenever you log in. If you join late or miss a day, check your remaining reward tiers and the event deadline before budgeting for the full 620 coins.
Complete the Weekly Event Missions
Open Season Mission > Event and track these objectives. Each resets once per week per server; extra characters on that server do not multiply rewards. Use the in-game reset countdown to plan completion, rather than assuming maintenance is the reset.
Mission | Requirement | Pumpkin Coins |
Abyss | Hunt 10 monsters in Abyss | 25 |
Transcendence | Clear a Transcendence Dungeon once | 25 |
Expedition | Clear Expedition Conquest once | 25 |
Ascension Trial | Clear Ascension Trial once | 25 |
Nightmare | Clear once at any stage | 25 |
Log In | Log in three times | 30 |
Obtain Gear | Obtain one piece of Unique Gear | 20 |
Use a Scroll | Use five scrolls | 20 |
Dimensional Invasion | Participate once | 20 |
Shugo Festival | Participate once | 20 |
Start with objectives that overlap your usual activities. Use scrolls during content where you need their effects, and track the login objective across your sessions.
For the dungeon missions, check the exact requirement before queuing: the Expedition objective specifically names Conquest. Nightmare accepts any stage, so choose one you can already clear reliably.
Late Starts and Missed Attendanc
You can still reach the chest's 250-coin price without collecting all 620 attendance coins. From zero coins, one complete weekly mission set plus one 35-coin attendance reward gives 235 + 35 = 270, leaving 20 after the chest. This requires access to all ten missions and enough time to finish them before their reset and the event deadline.
Add your current balance to unclaimed mission rewards and attendance rewards still available before maintenance. If that reaches 250, reserve the chest first. Count only tasks you can complete. It is not yet confirmed whether missing a day resets attendance progress or whether missed rewards can be claimed later.
Where to Spend Pumpkin Coins
Look for the Halloween Pumpkin Coin Trader, AION 2's event Coin Merchant, in these towns. Both names refer to the same NPC. Exchange Halloween Pumpkin Coin (Event) there.
Faction | Region | Merchant Locations |
Elyos | Verteron | Dawn Legion Base / Zumion Village |
Asmodian | Altgard | Safe Haven / Nornir Assembly |
Reserve the Special Halloween Chest
At level 10, exchange 250 coins for the Special Halloween Chest. Opening it awards both the bound Spooky Scary Skeleton breastplate skin and 10,000 Pet Soul Crystals.
Once the skin is unlocked, open Closet > Armor and select Spooky Scary Skeleton for the breastplate slot. Preview the appearance there; the chest awards one breastplate skin, with no separately listed helm, gloves, boots, or other armor pieces.
After all 14 attendance claims, the chest leaves 370 coins for other items
Choose Rewards for Your Progression
Each price below is for one item. Weekly limits are shared per server, including the level 45 rewards.
Reward | Coins | Limit per Server | Minimum Level | Useful For |
Odyle Energy (Bound) | 10 | 4 weekly | 45 | Players needing more energy |
Lower Abyss Rift Stone (Bound) | 30 | 2 weekly | 45 | Abyss access needs |
Skin Chest (10 times) (Bound) | 15 | 5 weekly | 10 | Appearance collection |
Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound) | 2 | 10 weekly | 10 | Replenishing revival supplies |
Instant Clear Ticket: Daily Dungeon (Bound) | 3 | 7 weekly | 10 | Saving daily dungeon time |
Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Ticket (Bound) | 7 | 3 weekly | 10 | Additional Nightmare attempts |
Shugo Festival Reward Key (Bound) | 7 | 3 weekly | 10 | Festival rewards |
Four Odyle Energy cost 40 coins; seven Daily Dungeon tickets cost 21. Together with the special chest, that is 311 coins, leaving 309 from full attendance. This is a useful starting budget for a level 45 player who wants the appearance and those resources.
Choose an order based on your goal:
l Appearance collectors: reserve 250 for the skeleton chest, then consider Skin Chests.
l Below level 45: focus on level-10 options; reserve coins for level-45 items only if you expect to reach that level before the event ends.
l Regular dungeon players: if you're saving AION 2 Kina for gear upgrades, prioritize Odyle Energy at level 45 and Daily Dungeon tickets that support your usual activities.
l Late starters seeking the skin: secure the 250-coin target before optional exchanges.
Life Crystals cost two coins each, limited to 20 per character. Halloween Candy and Cookies cost two each, limited to ten of each per character. No weekly reset is listed for these. Leave unlimited one-coin Superior Power Shards until your priorities are covered.
How to Get Candy Keys
Candy Keys use dungeon fragments, separately from AION 2's Pumpkin Coins. Keep the chest's coin reserve while working toward a key.
Collect Fragments and Craft a Key
1. Check an Expedition or Transcendence Dungeon's reward list for Candy Key Fragments, then complete it and collect the relevant reward Cube.
2. Open Substance Morph > Event and select your preferred Candy Key recipe.
3. Exchange 60 fragments for one key. The recipe uses Candy Key Fragments rather than AION 2 Kina and has a 100% success chance.
4. Go to the Coin Merchant and find the three large candies beside it. Keep the key in your inventory and interact with the matching color: a Blue Candy Key opens Blue Halloween Candy. The food item Halloween Candy is a separate reward.
For an Asmodian route, head to Safe Haven or Nornir Assembly and find the Coin Merchant beside the teleport point, then look beside it for the candies.
For two specific examples, the global database lists three fragments at 100% in the reward Cube for Fire Temple (Conquest) and Shattered Arkanis (Transcendence, level 1). Both Cube entries require Odyle Energy.
If you leave without fragments, check whether you collected the Cube reward. These are database entries, not confirmation that every dungeon difficulty has identical rewards.
The global notice does not specify a separate fragment acquisition cap; check your remaining dungeon reward claims before another run. Each color has its own limit of one key per week per server. All three keys cost 180 fragments in total.
Budget the Fragment Cost
At three fragments per Cube claim, one 60-fragment key takes 20 reward claims; all three take 60. These are claims, not a guaranteed number of dungeon runs or weekly rewards.
Check your Odyle Energy and remaining reward allowance before farming. Start with one desired key; this calculation does not establish a completion time or make every dungeon equally efficient.
Compare Red, Yellow and Blue
Opening a candy awards every item in its bundle. Each color also includes five Halloween Candies and five Halloween Cookies.
Candy | Color-Specific Rewards | Choose It For |
Red | 20 Growth Pet Chests and 10 Battle Enhance Scrolls | Developing pets while replenishing combat scrolls |
Yellow | 10,000 Abyss Points and 10 Life Crystals | Currently saving Abyss Points |
Blue | 4 Odyle Energy and 10 Resurrection Spiritstones | Short on energy for dungeon rewards or revival items |
With only 60 fragments, choose the bundle that addresses your current shortage. Blue suits players who need energy to collect dungeon Cube rewards, or who are running low on revival items. You can craft one key now and leave other colors for later.
Fragments also have an unlimited Substance Morph recipe: one fragment yields ten Superior Power Shards at 100% success. Save fragments for your desired keys first, since converting 60 fragments this way would consume a full key's materials.
A Practical Daily and Weekly Routine
Daily
Claim Trick or Treat attendance in Aion 2. During planned dungeon runs, collect eligible Cube rewards and save the fragments for your chosen key.
Before the Weekly Reset
Finish reachable Event Missions using their in-game countdown. Check each color's crafting allowance and the Coin Merchant's weekly stock, then craft or exchange according to your budget. Mission rewards, key recipes, and merchant stock have separate limits.
Event End Date and Limits
The global AION 2 Halloween Event closes before maintenance on November 3, 2026 (PST), for North America and November 4 (CET) for Europe. Finish claims, exchanges, and candy openings before your region's maintenance. Check individual item descriptions for expiry; continued access after the event is unconfirmed.
