September 16: Pre-download begins at 6:00 AM PDT
September 17: 6:00 AM-12:00 PM PDT

For players in Singapore and China, that means the two test sessions run from 9:00 PM-3:00 AM and 3:00 AM-9:00 AM respectively.
How to Join AION 2 Beta on Steam
Joining the test is straightforward. Open the official AION 2 Steam page and select "Request Access" for the playtest. Access is expected to be granted automatically, so players do not need a special beta key or invitation. The test is also available through NC's PURPLE platform.
The Steam playtest is already listed separately from the main game, making it easy to find and install ahead of the event.
What Is Limited During the Test?
The Launch Scale Test is focused on server testing rather than providing the complete launch experience. Characters will have a level 37 cap, while purchases, the marketplace, currency exchange, and player-to-player trading will be disabled. Founder's Pack items and wardrobe customization will also be unavailable.
Progress made on Day 1 will carry into Day 2, but all test progress will be wiped afterward. Nothing will transfer to Early Access or the full launch.
