Think you’ve mastered TranZit, Die Rise, and Buried? But what happens when you connect all three maps into one massive Zombies storyline? And which ending gives you the better reward? The BO2 Super Easter Egg requires careful Navigation Card transfers, matching faction choices, and multiple hidden Navigation Tables. You’ll need to follow the correct route without mixing Maxis and Richtofen, so don’t waste your time—or your buy COD Black Ops 2 Bot Lobbies and cheap Black Ops 2 Bot Lobbies—before checking every requirement.
Three Maps, One Faction, Zero Mistakes
Before touching the Super Easter Egg, you must complete the Easter Egg on TranZit, Die Rise, and Buried with the same faction. That means choosing Maxis on all three maps or Richtofen on all three.
Once completed, each map's lobby icon changes color: orange for Maxis and blue for Richtofen. Mixing the factions prevents the Super Easter Egg from working correctly.
Value for You:
Best for new Zombies players and completionists; prevents wasted runs and ensures your three-map setup is valid.
The Navigation Card Chain
The core mechanic is a three-step delivery chain: TranZit → Die Rise → Buried → TranZit. Each map requires its own Navigation Card and Navigation Table.
On TranZit, find the Navigation Card behind the Mystery Box spawn at the Bus Depot, hidden in the debris. The Navigation Table sits beneath the power tower in the cornfield between the Farm and Power Station. Its four parts include the 115 meteorite, board, power box, and radio, found around the Bus Station, tunnel, Farm, restaurant garage, and related locations.
On Die Rise, the Navigation Card is inside a display case beneath the escalator near the starting area. The Navigation Table is built on the rooftop with the dragon statue. Its parts are scattered around the rooftop, including the 115 meteorite, board, radio, and power box.
Value for You:
Best for Easter Egg hunters and first-time runners; gives you the exact progression order so you can collect and transfer the cards efficiently.
Buried: Finish the Final Link
In Buried, find the Navigation Card on a shelf inside the Haunted Mansion after exiting through the mansion. The Navigation Table is built after using the fountain teleport in the center of the maze.
To obtain the 115 meteorite, first rescue Leroy and use booze to make him smash the fountain near the Haunted Mansion. Enter the mansion, reach the maze center, destroy the fountain with explosives, and jump into the right-side area to collect it.
The remaining board, radio, and power box are located around the left-side barn exit near the Navigation Card area.
Value for You:
Best for Buried players and coordinated squads; helps you complete the final Navigation Table without unnecessary backtracking.
The Courtroom Button Decides Everything
Once all three Navigation Cards have been inserted into their corresponding tables, head to the Courtroom in Buried.
You'll find a huge button inside the lower room. Its color determines the ending: blue activates Richtofen, while orange activates Maxis.
There is one crucial requirement: every player in the current game must have completed the appropriate faction Easter Egg on their account. Otherwise, the button may not function correctly.
Value for You:
Best for four-player Easter Egg teams; helps you avoid reaching the finale only to discover that the requirements aren't met.
Maxis vs. Richtofen: Which Ending Wins?
The Maxis ending turns the Zombies' eyes orange, with one blue-eyed Richtofen Zombie remaining. Zombies also gain a chance to drop random Power-Ups with every kill. From the storyline perspective, this is treated as the official canon ending, leading into the larger Zombies narrative involving Samantha, Agartha, Primis, and Dr. Monty.
The Richtofen ending gives a more noticeable gameplay reward: a permanent combination of PhD Flopper and Mule Kick. Stuhlinger gains blue eyes and can occasionally communicate with Richtofen. Story-wise, Richtofen gains immense power and defeats Maxis before continuing his existence through Stuhlinger.
For pure gameplay value, Richtofen's permanent Perk reward is generally the stronger prize. For players who care about the overarching storyline, however, Maxis is the important choice.
Value for You:
Best for reward hunters and lore fans; lets you choose the ending based on either stronger gameplay benefits or storyline significance.Black Ops 2 Bot Lobbies on MMOexp to level up faster and stay ahead.
Complete Both Routes and Finish the Story
Navigation Card progress carries between games, so you don't have to finish everything in one session. A four-player squad is also recommended because the process is complicated and the final requirements can be demanding.
Most importantly, never mix factions across the three maps. Once you've completed one ending, the process can be repeated to pursue the other faction and experience the alternate outcome.
The BO2 Super Easter Egg is less about brute force and more about preparation. Follow the Navigation Card chain, verify everyone's faction progress, and you'll finally unlock one of the most memorable multi-map secrets in Zombies history.
