New Game++ Release Date

The current New Game+ mode allows players to complete the campaign one additional time while carrying progression forward. New Game++ will remove that limitation, allowing players to start another NG+ run after completing the previous one without wiping their accumulated progress. In other words, players who enjoy experimenting with Dylan's abilities and builds will be able to continue replaying the campaign across multiple runs.
Remedy even joked that players could complete hundreds of runs if they wanted, highlighting that there will be no practical one-run restriction like the launch version.
Photo Mode Coming in November
Players who enjoy capturing the strange environments of Manhattan will have to wait a little longer for Photo Mode.
Remedy expects Photo Mode to launch in November 2026, although an exact date has not been confirmed. The feature was held back from launch because the team prioritized getting the base game into the best possible condition. Remedy also consulted members of the virtual photography community while developing the feature.
Once available, Photo Mode should give players more freedom to capture Dylan, enemies, combat moments, and CONTROL Resonant's surreal environments.
More Cosmetics for Dylan
Dylan Faden will also receive more cosmetic items in future updates. Remedy has not revealed the specific outfits or a release date yet, so players will need to wait for additional details.
Some cosmetics are already available, including a newsletter-exclusive outfit and a Twitch-related reward. More cosmetic pieces are planned for later updates, giving players additional ways to customize Dylan.
