EA SPORTS FC 27 Lite is officially confirmed as a free-to-download limited preview, giving football fans access to selected content without purchasing the complete game. Players can also buy EA FC 27 Coins to support their Ultimate Team plans. But when will FC 27 Lite launch, which platforms support it, and how can players download it for free?

EA SPORTS FC 27 Lite Release Date

EA has confirmed that EA SPORTS FC 27 Lite will be available on several major platforms, including:

PlayStation 5

Interestingly, the currently announced FC 27 Lite platform list does not include Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2, although the full version of EA SPORTS FC 27 is launching on Nintendo platforms.

What Can You Play in FC 27 Lite?

EA describes FC 27 Lite as a free-to-download preview with access to selected game modes. One confirmed example is Kick-Off, allowing players to jump into matches and experience FC 27's gameplay without buying the full game.

The preview is intentionally limited, so players should not expect access to every mode, feature, or piece of content included in the Standard, Ultimate, or Ultimate Plus Editions. However, EA says players will have the option to upgrade to the full game at any time.

Players who later decide to move into Ultimate Team also need enough EA FC 27 Coins to manage their budget, build squads, and prepare for future transfers.
