In EA SPORTS FC 27 Manager Career, there is no confirmed way to cancel every submitted transfer request.
You may still be able to retain a player by rejecting individual offers, but players report that Block Offers can become unavailable once a request is active. Better morale, more playing time, or a renewed contract does not guarantee that the request disappears.
If the player has only complained, review their recent minutes and Squad Role before adjusting your rotation. A happy regular starter requesting a move may instead match the abnormal cases EA acknowledged investigating. Start by establishing which state your player is in.
Can You Stop a Submitted Request?
Once an FUT 27 player formally requests a transfer, check whether they remain available for selection and whether you can manage incoming bids. Block Offers prevents incoming approaches, while Reject Offer refuses an individual bid. Neither action cancels the player's transfer request.
The request itself must disappear from the player's status before it can be considered withdrawn. These are separate outcomes: keeping someone in your squad does not establish that they have withdrawn their request.
This is separate from Ultimate Team's Transfer Market, where FC 27 Coins are used; that currency cannot change a Manager Career transfer request.
Players have reported Block Offers becoming unavailable because a request is active. If you encounter that restriction, open the incoming bid and check whether you can reject it individually. If that action is also unavailable, do not rely on offer blocking to retain the player; move to the contract and save decisions below.
Start in Squad Hub by selecting the affected player. Review their morale and any playing-time information shown, then inspect their contract role and transfer-related actions. In Transfers, open Contracts & Clauses to check the player's remaining contract length and any release clause.
Use Active Negotiations to follow outgoing deals and available renewals. Rejecting ordinary bids may help you retain a player, but a release clause can still allow them to leave if its terms are met.
If contract renewal is unavailable, also check whether your career began with the first transfer window disabled. EA acknowledged a separate issue that can prevent renewals under that setting, so a blocked negotiation does not necessarily mean the player's transfer request caused it.
A player report describes a successful renewal with the request still active. Contract extensions draw on your club's wage budget, not FUT 27 Coins. After an extension, inspect the transfer status separately instead of repeatedly raising wages to try to clear it.
Current Situation | What to Do Now |
Only a playing-time complaint | Compare Squad Role with recent eight-to-ten-game minutes; adjust selection. |
Formal transfer request | Check contract expiry, available bid actions, and renewal access. |
Very Happy but still requesting a move | Compare recent minutes and game version; document a possible abnormal case. |
Block Offers unavailable | Check whether individual bids can still be rejected. |
Renewed contract, request still active | Monitor contract and transfer status separately; stop treating wage changes as a reset. |
Earlier manual save available | Keep your current progress separately before trying a different rotation from that save. |
Why Regular Starters Can Become Unhappy
FIFA 27 assesses recent minutes against the player's contractual Squad Role. EA's October developer Q&A described roughly eight to ten matches and gave this Crucial-player example:
Factor | Disclosed Rule |
Recent playing time | Assessment covers roughly the last eight to ten games. |
Crucial role | The example expects 90% of the minutes over eight matches. |
Complaint threshold | Falling below half that expected time causes a complaint. |
40% stamina | EA said the match does not count toward the assessment at this stamina condition. |
Assume eight 90-minute matches with no stamina exclusions. There are 720 available minutes; 90% is 648, and half of that is 324. Fewer than 324 minutes falls below the illustrated complaint threshold.
The 648-minute figure is the expected playing time, while 324 is the complaint threshold. Exceeding 324 minutes does not establish full satisfaction with the role; it only avoids falling below that threshold in this simplified example.
EA has not confirmed a fixed minute total that guarantees protection from a formal transfer request.
This is an illustration, not a complete published formula. Other roles' percentages were not disclosed in that answer. Season appearance totals can also hide a recent shortage, particularly when starts end in early substitutions.
Has FC 27 Fixed the Issue?
By October 13, 2026, a relevant fix had been announced. EA's October 2 v1.0.3 notes addressed some high-morale Manager Career players requesting transfers without prior messages or complaints.
The October 6 developer Q&A still acknowledged investigating cases involving happy players and sufficient playing time. The October 7 v1.0.4 notes did not list a further fix for those cases or a way to clear existing requests.
Update FIFA 27 before assessing a new incident. Distinguish a request already recorded before an update from one appearing afterward: patch notes do not establish that existing requests are automatically withdrawn. Player reports also need their version and save context before they can demonstrate a continuing problem.
Playing Time Problem or Bug?
For an FC 27 player whose role demands substantial minutes, review the recent window before blaming the last match they missed. Several bench appearances or repeated early substitutions can explain a shortage even when their season totals look healthy.
Do not assume Squad Hub provides an exact rolling eight-to-ten-match total. If no suitable statistic is visible, estimate from recent lineups and substitution times you can recover, or begin logging minutes from the current match. Mark uncertain estimates rather than presenting them as the game's internal calculation.
Compare that record with the contract role and stamina when rested. EA cited 40% specifically; being tired at 70% does not establish the same exemption. If minutes appear sufficient but the request persists alongside positive playing-time feedback or Very Happy morale, document a possible abnormal case.
Capture the version, Squad Role, morale, request message, and available actions, plus your minute estimates. Record whether the incident preceded or followed the update. This gives a bug report more useful context than a season appearance count alone.
Reduce Requests through Your Rotation
Before each FUT 27 match, prioritise players with demanding roles whose recent minutes have dropped. Plan starts and substitute appearances around fitness and upcoming fixtures.
As an illustrative case, a Crucial striker receives four full matches and sits out four in an eight-match window. That is 360 minutes: above the example's 324-minute complaint threshold, but below the 648-minute expectation.
If an older 90-minute appearance leaves the eight-match window, the total drops from 360 to 270 minutes. A 20-minute cameo raises it to 290, still below the illustrated 324-minute complaint threshold.
Playing the full 90 minutes instead raises the total to 360, above that complaint threshold but still below the 648-minute expectation.
This comparison assumes no stamina exclusions. It does not guarantee satisfaction or prevent a formal transfer request.
EA mentioned a 20-minute appearance for a Crucial striker with sufficient stamina. It contributes minutes, but cannot guarantee satisfaction or prevent an abnormal request. Follow the next few matches and the player's feedback rather than treating one cameo as a cure.
For future signings and extensions, agree a Squad Role that fits your planned rotation. EA discussed easier role reductions in future negotiations; that does not establish unrestricted downgrading of existing roles today.
If the Player Still Wants to Leave
In FC 27, contract expiry determines the urgency of your fallback. A player with substantial time remaining gives you more room to assess the options already identified.
If renewal is blocked and expiry is approaching, prepare a replacement before depending on another season together. Refusing a bid does not extend the contract. A replacement must fit the club's transfer budget and wage structure; FIFA 27 Coins from Ultimate Team cannot cover those Career Mode costs.
If you choose to let the player leave, follow the outgoing deal's status in Active Negotiations. An offer or accepted proposal alone should not be treated as a completed departure. If the move stalls or no offers arrive, base lineup and replacement plans on the player's actual status in your save.
For multiple abnormal requests, weigh continuing with the affected squad against returning to an earlier manual save. Keep the current progress separately before replaying; a new rotation may change the outcome, but reloading or starting a fresh career has no confirmed guarantee against recurrence.
FC 27 Transfer Request FAQ
Can You Turn Transfer Requests Off?
EA discussed a possible option after fixing the underlying issue and balancing. That answer did not confirm an available switch. Disabling manager sacking should not be assumed to disable player requests.
Does a New Contract Cancel Requests?
Not reliably: players have reported successful renewal with the request unchanged. Verify the request status after the contract changes.
Will Updates Repair Existing Saves?
EA said most updates aim to apply to existing careers. It did not confirm that a future FC 27 fix would clear requests already recorded in a save.
