Summary:
The second part of Grow a Garden Items the Beantock event adds several useful features, including the Gold Cauldron, a new NPC, a crafting bench, Beanpod Chests, and Beanpod Eggs. Getting these rewards efficiently requires the right crops and pets. This guide explains a simple farming setup for collecting both items quickly.
Grow the Beantock First
Before using the Gold Cauldron, you need to grow the Beantock. A simple method is to use four or five Apossums followed by a 15-second Frog. Plant a trait that Jack requests, then harvest the crops with the Harvest Tool.
Once you have enough materials, submit them to Jack. The Beantock will grow, allowing you to reach the new area and meet Jill.
Farm Gold Fruits for Beanpod Chests
Jill's Gold Cauldron requires Gold Fruits. After submitting them, you can receive Beanpod Chests. The most efficient setup focuses on high-weight Coconut fruits.
Use a Cockatrice to turn regular fruits into Gold variants. A Liar Bird is also important because its ability can increase harvested fruit weight and provide a chance to duplicate the fruit. A Spider helps crops grow faster, while a 15-second Mimic Octopus makes the setup more efficient.
Plant around five to ten Coconut Seeds. Coconuts are useful because they can produce many fruits and generally provide good weight. Place Pancake Stacks or Horseshoe Magnets around the crops so your pets can use their abilities effectively.
Use the Spider with a 15-second Mimic Octopus to speed up growth. While the Spider web is active, use a Watering Can to accelerate the process further. Next, use the Cockatrice with a longer Mimic Octopus duration to turn the Coconuts into Gold variants.
If some Coconuts grow too tall for the Cockatrice's ability to reach, reclaim and plant them again.
Finally, activate the Liar Bird buff and harvest the Gold Coconuts. Higher-weight Gold Fruits are especially useful because they make it easier to supply the Gold Cauldron. Submit the harvested Gold Coconuts to Jill to obtain Beanpod Chests.
Get Beanpod Eggs Through Crafting
Beanpod Eggs can also be obtained through the new crafting system. You need Beantocks from the Beantock Plant Sprout Seed Pack and Uncommon Eggs.
For Uncommon Eggs, plant Divine or Prismatic seeds, such as Sugar Apples. Use a Spider with a Mimic Octopus to grow them quickly, then use a Bearded Dragon with a longer Mimic Octopus duration to generate more Uncommon Eggs.
Use Three Pet Teams
Prepare three teams for efficient crafting. The first is an Orangutan team with seven Ruby Squids. The second uses a Hamster with seven 15-second Mimic Octopuses. The third is a Patchy team with seven Ruby Squids, and you can supplement any missing components by choosing to buy Grow a Garden Items as needed.
Start crafting with the Orangutan team to gain its chance to preserve crafting materials. Switch to the Hamster team to speed up crafting, then switch to the Patchy team to claim the finished item and gain a chance to duplicate it.
For smoother pet switching, move through the Hamster team before switching between the other teams. This can help avoid Ruby Squid copying issues.
By combining efficient Gold Fruit farming with the crafting setup, you can steadily collect both Beanpod Chests and Beanpod Eggs during the Beantock event.
