Summary
The latest GTA Online weekly update is now live, and Rockstar has shifted the spotlight to Gunrunning for the third week of September's Business Rivalries event.
From September 17 through September 23, players can claim a free Grapeseed Bunker, earn double rewards from several Bunker activities and complete three Bunker Research Missions for a GTA$1,000,000 Weekly Challenge reward. The week also brings a new vehicle, buy GTA 5 Money, free cosmetics and a long list of discounts.
For anyone looking to make money or expand their GTA Online business network this week, the Bunker-focused event is the main attraction.
Free Grapeseed Bunker Is Available This Week
The biggest reward is arguably the simplest one.
Rockstar is making the Grapeseed Bunker completely free from Maze Bank Foreclosures during this week's Gunrunning event. Players who have not yet purchased a Bunker can claim the property without paying its normal purchase price.
The location isn't generally considered one of the strongest long-term Bunker positions, but the fact that it costs nothing changes the equation for new players.
The Bunker gives access to Gunrunning, research and Ammu-Nation Contracts, meaning it can immediately be used to participate in this week's boosted activities.
One important detail: community discussion around the free property generally treats it as a temporary or budget option rather than a preferred permanent location, with players often pointing toward Chumash or Farmhouse for better long-term selling routes.
How to Get GTA$1 Million This Week
The biggest direct money opportunity comes from the Weekly Challenge.
Complete three Bunker Research Missions and you'll receive GTA$1,000,000 plus the Camo Ammu-Nation Sweatsuit. The Research Missions are also paying 2X GTA$, 2X RP and 2X Research Progress, making this challenge particularly attractive this week.
That means even players who have already unlocked all of their Bunker research can still benefit from running the missions for the Weekly Challenge reward.
The event is designed so that the same activity contributes toward multiple rewards at once.
GTA Online Gunrunning Bonuses
Bunker Research Missions aren't the only activities receiving bonuses.
Ammu-Nation Contracts are paying 2X GTA$ and RP this week, while Safeguard Deliveries also receive double rewards. Rockstar has also increased Community Mission Series payouts to 3X GTA$ and RP. The Featured Series, covering Stockpile and Trap Door, is paying 2X as well.
The Ammu-Nation Contract is particularly easy to work into a normal play session because it uses surplus Bunker weapon stock and doesn't require a full traditional Bunker sale.
This makes the free Grapeseed Bunker much more useful during the current event week.
Free Dolla Dolla Livery and More Rewards
Logging into GTA Online between September 17 and September 23 also unlocks the Dolla Dolla livery.
The free livery can be applied to the Mammoth Avenger, Ocelot Ardent, Pegassi Oppressor and Oppressor Mk II.
Business Battle crate deliveries also continue to provide guaranteed clothing rewards, including the Six Figure Tee, Ride or Die Tee, Red and White Ammu-Nation Cap and Bourgeoix Tee.
There is also an important reward connected to this week's challenge. Players who complete the required Weekly Challenge can qualify for the Penaud La Coureuse, with a complimentary HSW upgrade available when they log in during September 24–30.
Pegassi Horus Is Now Available to Everyone
The new vehicle focus this week is the Pegassi Horus.
After its limited GTA+ early-access period, the Horus is now available to all players for GTA$2,810,000 at Legendary Motorsport. Rockstar's current weekly rotation also places the Horus in the broader vehicle lineup for the week.
This is one of the most important corrections to the original video transcript: the newly available vehicle is Horus, not the Pegassi Toreador.
GTA Online Weekly Discounts
There are plenty of discounts to go with the Gunrunning bonuses.
The Pfister Astron Custom receives the biggest headline discount at 70% off, while a large group of vehicles receives 30% discounts. Rockstar's weekly lineup includes the Ocelot XA-21, Bravado Half-track, Imponte Nightshade, HVY Nightshark, Pegassi Torero, Übermacht Niobe, Western Company Rogue, Karin Everon, Buckingham Shamal, Shitzu Hakuchou Drag, Lampadati Viseris, Principe Lectro, Grotti Bestia GTS, Albany Hermes and Schyster Deviant, among others.
The Stun Gun is also 40% off at the Gun Van, while GTA+ members receive an additional Tactical SMG discount.
For players looking for armored utility vehicles, the Nightshark and Half-track are particularly notable entries in the discount rotation.
Vapid Dominator ASP Is the Podium Vehicle
This week's Diamond Casino Lucky Wheel podium vehicle is the Vapid Dominator ASP.
Players can attempt the Lucky Wheel once per day for a chance to win it rather than purchasing it outright. The vehicle normally carries a GTA$1,775,000 price tag.
Meanwhile, the Dinka LSCM Jester RR is this week's LS Car Meet Prize Ride.
To claim it for free, players need to win an LS Car Meet Series race for four consecutive days.
GTA Online Weekly Update: Best Things to Do Before September 23
For players trying to maximize the current week, the most straightforward path starts with the free Grapeseed Bunker.
Once the Bunker is claimed, run the three Bunker Research Missions required for the Weekly Challenge. That gives you the boosted Research rewards while also working toward the GTA$1,000,000 payout and Camo Ammu-Nation Sweatsuit.
From there, Ammu-Nation Contracts and Safeguard Deliveries provide additional 2X opportunities.
The Community Mission Series is another option for players who prefer regular missions, thanks to its 3X GTA$ and RP payout.
The update is only active through September 23, so the free Bunker, Weekly Challenge and other limited-time rewards should be claimed before the next weekly rotation arrives.
Overall, this is a particularly useful week for players who haven't yet invested in Gunrunning. The combination of a free Bunker, boosted research, a GTA$1 million GTA 5 Money challenge and additional rewards makes the current GTA Online weekly update heavily centered around getting players into the Bunker business.
