Version 4.6 features three banners instead of the usual four. Pearl, the new character, stays available for the entire version (40 days), while the two reruns are split across the first and second halves.

Because Pearl lasts the whole version, you don't need to decide on day one. You can wait, watch the next beta, and still have plenty of time to pull for her.
Pearl: The Dedicated Elation Sustain
What She Does
Pearl is an Ice-element, Elation-path sustain character. Her kit revolves around damage mitigation, healing, and action advance for the team, with her buffs scaling based on how many Elation characters are in the party.
At four Elation characters, she can grant a designated ally an extra turn on top of significant damage reduction and Elation damage amplification.
Key Mechanics
Damage mitigation: Consumes a resource to block 60% of damage for an ally. If the ally drops below 50% HP, an additional 30% damage reduction applies. The resource caps at 50 stacks with no duration limit, making her strong in prolonged fights.
Action advance: Her Ultimate advances a designated ally's action by 10%/15%/30% based on Elation count (1/2/3/4), and at four Elation characters, grants an extra turn outright.
Elation damage buff: Adds bonus Elation damage to the team's next attack based on Elation count, up to 40% at four.
Should You Pull?
Pull if:
You already have a complete Elation team, especially Silver Wolf Lv.999. Pearl's Ultimate generates massive amounts of resources that Silver Wolf wants, and the action advance accelerates her damage windows.
You play Evanesia. Pearl's advance is an extra-turn mechanic, so it doesn't consume Evanesia's own buff state, making them pair smoothly.
Skip or wait if:
You have no Elation team. Outside of Elation compositions, Pearl's value drops sharply. She is not a plug-and-play sustain like Huohuo or Fu Xuan.
You're a newer player with limited resources. Building an Elation team from scratch in 4.6 is expensive.
Investment: E0S0 is enough. As a sustain, her core function is complete at base. Her Light Cone is widely considered skippable.
Evanesia: The Rerunning Elation DPS
Should You Pull?
If you already own Evanesia:
At E0, strongly consider going for E1. Her E1 is one of the strongest DPS Eidolons in the game and fundamentally changes how she plays. Many consider E0 Evanesia an incomplete character.
If you already have E1, Pearl is a higher priority than further Evanesia investment. Pearl's team-wide value outweighs Evanesia's E2.
Her Light Cone is very strong but slightly less impactful than E1. Prioritize E1 first.
If you don't own Evanesia:
If you already have Silver Wolf Lv.999, skip her. Both are Elation DPS units, and Evanesia is currently the weakest of the three Elation DPS options.
If you have no Elation DPS at all, starting from scratch is not recommended. You'd need Evanesia, a support like Ruan Mei or Nigilux, and Pearl on top of that. That's too much investment for a new team.
Bottom line: Unless you already have Evanesia at E0 and want her E1, she is not a priority pull this version.
Mortenax Blade: The Most Universal Pull
Why He's the Top Recommendation
Mortenax Blade is a Fire-element, Nihility-path support with exceptional buffing power and synergy. Unlike Pearl and Evanesia, who are tied to specific team archetypes, Blade fits into almost any composition.
For most accounts, he is the single best pull of the version. He provides some of the strongest buffs in the game, works perfectly at E0, and requires no Light Cone to function.
When Can You Skip Him?
The only reasonable case for skipping Blade is if you already own most of the game's top supports — characters like Ruan Mei, Robin, and other Nihility or Harmony staples. In that situation, Blade's marginal improvement is smaller, and you can afford to pass.
Investment
E0S0 works perfectly. No dupes or Light Cone required.
E2 is the chase node. Blade's E2 is a monster, especially in teams like Heron, Ashville, and Castorice compositions. If you're going to invest, stop at E2.
Light Cone priority is below E2. It's a good cone, but his Eidolons overshadow it.
