Aegis Sabre Raven EX Arrives

The Aegis Sabre Raven EX is one of the biggest additions in Alpha 4.10.1. Designed around speed, firepower, and tactical control, the fighter introduces an onboard Quantum Dampener, allowing it to prevent nearby ships from entering quantum travel. This makes it particularly useful for intercepting targets trying to escape.

The ship also features four Size 3 weapon hardpoints. CIG's Q&A confirms that the Raven EX joins a small group of ships equipped with Quantum Dampeners, alongside the Mantis, Cutlass Blue, Scorpius Antares, and Guardian QI.

Nine Tails Shogun Pack

The new Nine Tails Shogun Pack brings the outlaw faction's style to the Argo ATLS IKTI Akuma. The bundle includes the Nine Tails-themed power suit, weapons, armor, and matching cosmetics for the Drake Cutlass.

The Akuma features mounted plasma repeaters with splash damage and a modified jump pack designed for greater distance and fuel capacity. It gives players another way to embrace the Nine Tails aesthetic while expanding the available ATLS options.

Pirate Week 2026 Rewards

Pirate Week 2026 also adds activities, paints, contests, and treasure-hunting opportunities. The Most Wanted Contest gives participants a chance to win ships and pirate-themed rewards. The top prize is an Aegis Vanguard Warden with LTI and Solar Winds Paint, while second and third place offer Grey's Market ships with LTI and Skull and Crossbones Paint.

NPCs Take 40% More Damage

Perhaps the most unusual change comes from Tech Preview #3's combat testing. CIG introduced a 40% additional damage modifier against AI ships in PvE, alongside major shield, armor, and weapon adjustments. The goal is to keep PvE combat faster while allowing PvP encounters to have longer time-to-kill windows.

However, the change has sparked discussion because NPC ships effectively follow different durability rules from player ships. For now, these values belong to an experimental Tech Preview rather than a finalized live balance system.

With the Sabre Raven EX, Nine Tails content, Pirate Week rewards, and ongoing combat testing, Star Citizen has plenty happening this September. Players looking to prepare for the latest content can also consider cheap Star Citizen AUEC for additional in-game resources..
