Summary
Now that most weapons in WARDOGS are unlocked, their strengths and weaknesses are becoming much clearer. Some guns offer excellent all-around performance, while others are highly situational or quickly replaced by better options.
This WARDOGS weapon tier list breaks down the major weapons and explains which guns are worth using, which are situational, and which should generally be skipped. To unlock the top-tier weapons and attachments for your loadout, buy WARDOGS Dollar and secure the gear you need.
S Tier: The Best WARDOGS Weapons
M4
The M4 is one of the strongest all-around weapons in WARDOGS. It costs $2,800 but combines an 800 RPM fire rate with excellent recoil control, AR-level damage, and very high bullet velocity.
Its versatility is the biggest advantage. The M4 performs well at close range, remains effective at mid-range, and can reach farther targets when you have good recoil control.
For a reliable assault rifle that works in almost any engagement, the M4 belongs at the top of the tier list.
FAL
The FAL is extremely expensive at $6,500, and its magazine economy is not great. However, its performance can justify the cost.
It deals around 90 headshot damage and has the fastest time to kill in the game, even beating the Vector. Its excellent range makes it even more dangerous.
If you can afford it and control the weapon effectively, the FAL can eliminate enemies incredibly quickly.
Super 45
The Super 45 is a close-range menace. Its 1,200 RPM fire rate combines with .45 ammunition to produce substantially more damage per shot than 9mm SMGs.
Despite its poor muzzle velocity and limited range, its extremely low recoil makes the weapon surprisingly effective. Keep fights close, and the Super 45 can shred enemies before they have time to react.
Galil
The Galil is another top-tier assault rifle and a major upgrade over the AK-74. It comes with 35-round magazines, higher bullet velocity, and more damage thanks to its 5.56 ammunition.
Its recoil is manageable enough to make long-range kills possible, especially with good recoil control. It falls slightly below the M4, but it remains one of the strongest general-purpose weapons.
Great Tier
MP9
The MP9 is an excellent $900 SMG. It has extremely low recoil, a high fire rate, and one of the highest muzzle velocities among SMGs.
Its default 20-round magazines only use one inventory slot, while the 50-round drum uses two slots. That makes it particularly efficient for players who need to manage their inventory carefully.
The MP9 is especially effective at close range and works well for aggressive combat roles.
SVD
The SVD is a major upgrade over the SKS. It offers better muzzle velocity, accuracy, damage, and reload speed.
Although it costs more, the improved performance makes it a strong choice for players who prefer semi-automatic precision weapons.
BMR-308
The BMR-308 sits alongside the SVD among the strongest marksman rifles. It is slightly better than the SVD, although it comes with a significantly higher price.
Both rifles are excellent choices when you want strong damage without the limitations of a bolt-action sniper.
Good Tier
AK-74
The AK-74 is a solid early assault rifle. It has low recoil, high muzzle velocity, good range, and a relatively low $1,600 price.
However, the Galil provides a straightforward upgrade, meaning the AK-74 can become less attractive once better weapons are unlocked.
T21
The T21 costs only $600 and has a strong time to kill, but its biggest drawback is high recoil. It is still a useful budget weapon, particularly when you need something inexpensive that can win fights.
Pump Action Shotgun
The pump action shotgun is surprisingly versatile. With slugs and a scope, it can even be used similarly to a sniper or DMR, while remaining effective at close range.
Its biggest weakness is consistency. Missing shots or requiring multiple hits can make it difficult to compete with automatic weapons.
Glock 18
The Glock 18 is one of the more useful secondary weapons. It fires at 1,200 RPM while dealing the same damage as other 9mm weapons.
It is particularly useful alongside a bolt-action rifle, giving you a fast close-range option when an enemy gets too close.
Bolt-Action Rifles
The Mosin-Nagant, SV-98, Mark 22, and AMR are capable weapons, with each offering strong damage and long-range potential. The SV-98 and Mark 22 provide upgrades over earlier bolt-action options, while the AMR can one-shot enemies with a headshot.
However, DMRs can be more versatile because their semi-automatic firing allows you to engage multiple targets and fight effectively at closer ranges.
Mid / Situational Tier
MP5
The MP5 is a decent SMG with an 800 RPM fire rate, reasonable recoil, and good muzzle velocity. It is slightly better than the Vityaz, but the MP9 provides stronger overall value.
PP-19 Vityaz
The Vityaz suffers when compared directly with the MP9. It has lower muzzle velocity, worse recoil, and less efficient magazine options.
Its 50-round drum also takes three inventory slots, compared with two for the MP9. Since the MP9 is cheaper and performs better overall, the Vityaz is difficult to justify.
M249 and PKM
Both LMGs can be devastating in the right situation. The PKM delivers heavy damage, while the M249 is more controllable.
The problem is mobility. LMGs are heavy and difficult to use effectively while standing. Their sway becomes especially noticeable after sprinting.
However, mounting a bipod or going prone changes their effectiveness dramatically. If you can establish a defensive position and catch an enemy squad crossing an open area, either LMG can eliminate multiple targets quickly.
Double Barrel
The $400 double barrel is a cheap option that can work with slugs for a budget sniper-style setup. However, once the pump action shotgun is available, there is little reason to continue using it.
Other Secondaries
The Glock 17, Judge, 1911, Deagle, and Snub Nose are generally situational. The Deagle has strong headshot damage but is extremely heavy, while the other pistols offer useful backup firepower without being essential for most loadouts.
Skip Tier
Default Assault Rifles
The default assault rifles suffer from poor muzzle velocity, accuracy, and their burst-fire design. Their lack of attachment support further limits their potential.
Use them when you have nothing else, but replacing one with a better weapon should be a priority.
Scout Rifle TLD
The Scout Rifle TLD is essentially designed as an early-game meme weapon rather than a serious combat option. Its single-shot break-action design makes it far less practical than the weapons you can unlock later.
How to Choose Your WARDOGS Weapon
Choosing the right WARDOGS weapon ultimately depends on how you expect to fight. For close-range combat, the Super 45 and MP9 stand out thanks to their high fire rates and low recoil, while the Glock 18 provides a strong backup option.
For mid-range fights, the M4 and Galil are the most versatile choices. Both offer strong damage, good bullet velocity, and enough range to handle a variety of engagements. The FAL is another powerful option if you can afford its high cost and manage its heavier ammo and magazine requirements.
For long-range combat, the SVD and BMR-308 provide the flexibility of semi-automatic fire, while bolt-action rifles such as the AMR offer powerful single-shot potential. However, DMRs can be more practical when you need to engage multiple targets or react to enemies at different distances.
Overall, there is no single weapon that fits every situation. Consider your preferred combat range, budget, and playstyle when choosing a loadout, and prioritize weapons that let you stay effective across the engagements you expect to encounter. To unlock the weapons and attachments that fit your playstyle, WARDOGS Dollar can help you.
