Summary:
WoW Midnight Gold Season 2 Mythic+ has quickly established a clear healer meta. Holy Paladin and Restoration Shaman are leading the field, while Mistweaver Monk and Preservation Evoker remain strong choices for higher keys. Holy Priest sits in the middle, while Restoration Druid and Discipline Priest are struggling due to gameplay and tuning problems. This tier list focuses on healing strength, damage, utility, survivability, mana efficiency, and overall value in M+.
1. Holy Paladin Leads the M+ Healer Meta
Holy Paladin is currently the strongest overall healer and sits firmly in S Tier. Lightsmith has become the preferred setup over Herald of the Sun because it can provide excellent healing while also adding significantly more damage.
Paladin has strong passive healing, high survivability, useful utility, and powerful interactions with Infusion of Light. Frequent cooldowns also make it easier to handle dangerous healing checks. In many high-key groups, Paladin can even focus on supporting the squishier player while other party members bring strong defensive tools.
2. Restoration Shaman Remains a Top Choice
Restoration Shaman is another S Tier option and continues to provide some of the best group utility available. Skyfury is especially valuable in physical-heavy compositions, while Acid Rain adds useful passive damage.
Multiple Healing Rains give Shaman strong AoE healing, and Poison Cleansing Totem is extremely effective in a poison-heavy season. With strong melee DPS such as Arms Warrior appearing frequently in the meta, having a Shaman in the group provides excellent overall synergy.
3. Mistweaver Monk and Preservation Evoker Are Strong
Mistweaver Monk sits around A+ Tier because of its exceptional personal damage and strong synergy with physical DPS. Rising Sun Kick plays an important role in its healing output, while physical vulnerability can further increase group damage.
Preservation Evoker is also performing very well. Flame Shaper benefits from strong Dream Breath and Living Flame output, allowing Evoker to handle both heavy AoE and difficult single-target healing checks. Its higher skill requirement keeps representation lower, but it remains one of the strongest healer choices this season.
4. Holy Priest Offers Reliable Healing
Holy Priest falls into B Tier. The specialization has tools for almost every healing situation and can handle difficult checks with enough haste and the right secondary stats.
However, it relies more heavily on cooldowns and single-target healing than the top healers. Holy Priest also has weaker survivability in some dangerous encounters. It remains capable of pushing high keys, but reaching the very top of the M+ ladder may be more difficult.
5. Restoration Druid and Discipline Priest Struggle
Restoration Druid and Discipline Priest are currently at the bottom of cheap WoW Midnight Gold the list. Restoration Druid has suffered from changes to HoT extension and requires significantly more setup and maintenance than before. Although its raid performance can be strong, its M+ gameplay feels much more demanding.
Discipline Priest has an even bigger problem with mana and weak dungeon-based Atonement healing. Shadow Mend can provide emergency healing, but its high mana cost quickly creates problems. Without stronger M+ specific tuning, Discipline Priest remains the weakest healer for Season 2 Mythic+.
