Returning to ARC Raiders after Frozen Trail can leave you with a new upgrade bottleneck: the Frigate Inductor needed for Research Station IV. The material comes from a heavily defended ship, where the full Cargo puzzle calls for coordinated players.

Solo Raiders can search its breach containers without finishing that puzzle. A limited first visit lets you work toward the upgrade while learning the ship, with a Safe Pocket ready for any Inductor you find.

The October 13 - 20, 2026 PvE test excludes Frigate, so prepare for standard PvPvE and other Raiders.

ARC Raiders Frigate Inductor Guide: Solo Farming Route Without Completing the Puzzle

Find an Active Frigate Raid

From Speranza, open the ARC Raiders destination map-selection screen and look for an entry labeled ARC Frigate.

This is a rotating map condition; you do not summon the ship by completing a quest or operating a ground switch. Select the entry carrying that condition before deploying.

The official Frigate schedule currently lists Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport, The Blue Gate, and Pendola Pass. Availability changes with the rotation. Check the active label instead of assuming that choosing one of these maps guarantees the ship.

If no Frigate entry is available, wait for another window or check the official Map Conditions schedule for your server region.

After deploying into the condition, watch the sky and listen for the ship's arrival. Let it settle, then locate the end where small circular platforms shuttle between the ground and the hull: that is your boarding side. Its landing position varies, so there is no universal north-side or south-side approach.

If it has not arrived immediately, keep watching rather than abandoning the raid at once. If you entered a normal condition, extract normally and select a Frigate entry for the next attempt; running around the map will not activate it.

Gear for the Short Route

The ARC Raiders container route does not require an Anvil IV, Bettina, or Hullcracker specifically. Pack for getting back out before preparing for optional fights.

The ARC Frigate condition disables Free Loadouts, so you must deploy with a Custom Loadout. Make sure it provides a Safe Pocket slot before entering.

 Optional

Clear Hydras for a longer upper-deck visit

 Bettina or Photoelectric Cloak

 Optional

When selecting ARC Raiders Items, prioritize ammunition, recovery supplies, and your return tool. Leave a Safe Pocket slot free for the Inductor.

An Anvil IV is one workable example, with no requirement to match that weapon level. A barricade covers one angle; Rocketeers and Vaporizers can still attack from above.

You can climb onto a low Reclaimer and reach the entry wing without a grappling tool. However, that does not establish a complete tool-free escape: the entrance includes drops.

Bring a mobility tool for this loop; a dependable walking-only return is not established here. Without a Hullcracker, stick to the lower wing and skip Hydra-covered containers.

Quick Solo Container Route

1. Board at the Rear

Identify a Reclaimer by its broad, round platform and repeated trips between the ground and the ship's rear.

The approach is exposed to the Frigate's cannon, nearby ARC, and players. These platforms provide transport, without making the surrounding area safe.

Wait until one descends low enough to mantle onto its top. Climb aboard first, then hold the Disrupt interaction at its center until it completes.

Do this while aboard at the lower stop; you do not need to wait for an unprompted ascent. Stay on the platform as it rises toward the rear dock.

If it reverses before reaching the ship, check for the Disrupt prompt again. Once close enough to the dock to step across, enter the ship rather than riding another cycle.

2. Follow a Rear Entry Tunnel

From the rear dock, follow one of the entry tunnels through its bends and drops to the lower exterior wing. Keep track of the tunnel opening and any ledges you will need to regain on the return.

Stay on the same side on your first visit. Avoid turning inward toward the central elevator and its paired controls. Those controls belong to the group progression route.

3. Search the Entry Wing

Update 2.1.0 added burning damage when Frigate hatches open. Keep clear of an opening hatch and recover from any burn before continuing to loot.

Before climbing, check the wing's round wall-mounted containers. Approach the first unopened one you can reach here and confirm the Breach & Search prompt.

Breach it, then search its contents; completing the breach alone does not collect the loot. Inductor drops are random; an unopened container does not guarantee one.

Continue along this same lower wing, checking other accessible circular containers before any climb toward the roof.

When sorting ARC Raiders Items, read the item names and take the Frigate Inductor immediately if it appears. Other Frigate materials are separate items, even when they share Legendary rarity.

This is the shortest container pass described here. If the reachable containers are empty, already searched, or covered by enemies you cannot handle, turn back. You can end the attempt here without using the elevator, entering an engine passage, or breaking a power core.

If you find a Frigate Inductor, move it into your Safe Pocket immediately and check that it occupies the pocket slot. It stays with you even if you die before extraction. You can then focus on leaving safely to preserve your equipment and other unprotected loot.

4. Extend Only If Equipped

For more checks, continue outward along the same wing instead of branching inward toward the elevator. Climb the outer ribs and ledges, work toward the front, and enter the engine opening that leads onto the upper surface. Check the outer-wall containers and the walkway leading inward only where you have room to retreat.

A Hydra guarding these positions is a reason to stop with a lighter kit. With a Hullcracker, ammunition, and cover, you can clear it before searching. There is no fixed container count to justify pushing onward after supplies run low.

Return to the Reclaimer and Extract

From the lower-wing search, retrace that wing to your entry passage. If you extended upward, descend through the engine passage to the same lower wing first.

Use your grappling tool to regain height where needed, aiming for a visible, reachable ledge on the way back to the dock. Do not drop or swing toward an opening you cannot identify.

At the dock, wait for a Reclaimer, step onto it, and allow its normal downward cycle. Keep the boarding distinction in mind: hold Disrupt while aboard at ground level to go up; at the ship, wait aboard for descent instead of automatically repeating the ascent interaction. Do not rely on having a protective shield on the way down.

While descending, check your ARC Raiders map for an available extraction and plan the ground journey. If the platform returns upward, stay aboard or step back onto the dock when safe, then wait for a downward trip; do not jump from the ship to force an exit.

Move away from the landing area using cover. Raider Hatches are unavailable in this condition, so use the map's normal extraction before time expires. An Inductor in your Safe Pocket is protected if you die; successful extraction preserves your equipment and other unprotected loot.

Keep the Inductor for Research Station IV

Reserve these ARC Raiders Items for upgrading Research Station III to IV:

 Required Material

 Amount

 Frigate Inductor

 1

 Thermal Shaker

 3

 ARC Data Module

 3

You also need four Outpost rooms for Research Station IV. The upgrade opens weapon-amplification research; it does not automatically amplify your weapons. You also need Gunsmith IV and an appropriate Amplification Module to amplify a weapon. The Emperor Modulator is required for that separate Gunsmith upgrade.

Optional Fire-Vent Containers

Skip this section on a first short run. The fire vents and their power cores are optional extensions to the ARC Raiders container route, with no requirement to disable them before searching the entry wing.

For a longer visit, watch a full flame cycle from safety. During a pause, breach a reachable container and retreat; search it in a later pause if necessary. Wind can push you into the flames, so keep a clear retreat path.

To disable an outer vent, expose its three protected coils over separate safe intervals, then destroy the exposed coils. Confirm that the local fire and wind stop before looting. This takes additional supplies and does not clear the opposite side. The central multiplayer controls and Cargo release remain separate group objectives.

If several runs produce no Inductor, there is no confirmed pity counter to complete. Recheck accessible containers in another Frigate raid. Once you recover the one required for this upgrade, prepare the other materials before committing another kit to a duplicate.
