Black Ops 7 Season 6, “The Haunting,” is here—and it’s the game’s final major content season. From the brand-new Tenshu Survival Map to Rogue Run upgrades, returning weapons, seasonal challenges, and the DOOM Event Pass, this update gives both competitive and PvE players plenty of reasons to keep playing. Ranked Play: Climb the Ladder, Grab the Rewards
Season 6 Ranked Play follows the competitive rules used by the Call of Duty League, including its maps, modes, weapon restrictions, and gameplay settings. One important change this season is that Ranked matches have shorter time limits, so expect a faster pace and less room for mistakes.

If you’re already comfortable with competitive play, pushing Ranked early is one of the best ways to secure limited-time cosmetics.
Zombies: Tenshu Is the New Survival Destination
The biggest Zombies addition is Tenshu, where the undead have overrun the Masaki family’s ancestral stronghold in Kowakujō.
You’ll fight through the fortress against Hellhounds, undead samurai, and hordes of Zombies while searching for Perk upgrades, Mystery Boxes, Armories, Wall Buys, and GobbleGums. You can either push for increasingly difficult rounds or extract when things get too dangerous.
Tenshu Milestone Rewards
Round 10: Ghost Cat Animated Emblem + 1,000 XP
Round 25: Sleepy Cat Weapon Charm + 2,500 XP
Round 50: Magic Stick! GobbleGum + 5,000 XP
Rex Infernus Directed Mode
Directed Mode for Rex Infernus is also available, making the main quest easier to follow with on-screen objectives. The mode is capped at 15 rounds, giving players a more controlled route through the quest.
Complete it to earn the Netherclaw Guarding Blight Wonder Weapon Camo, a Rex Infernus Directed Mode completion Calling Card, and 5,000 XP.
Rogue Run Gets Even More Dangerous
Rogue Run has received several major additions, including three new pedestal rewards:
Pack-a-Punch IV
Ultra-Rarity Weapon Upgrade
Golden Armor, which regenerates Armor Plates over time
The Halloween update also introduces pumpkin-headed Zombies across Rogue Run playlists. During the event, you can discover pumpkin pedestals filled with candy-themed rewards.
The Super Easter Egg
One of the biggest rewards this season is reserved for dedicated Zombies players.
If you’ve completed the Main Quest on every round-based Zombies map in Black Ops 7, you can unlock the new Super Easter Egg rewards when Season 6 arrives—including the ability to unlock the new Warden Operator.
For completionists, this is arguably the most important Zombies grind of the season.
New Weapons Worth Unlocking
Season 6 also brings several weapons into the wider sandbox.
The VMP returns as a fast-firing SMG with excellent mobility and a 40-round magazine. Meanwhile, the TR51 Para is a powerful semi-automatic assault rifle that can be modified for fully automatic fire.
The Arcblade provides a fast melee option, while the Roc 20mm delivers serious firepower as a special weapon and can also be modified for automatic fire.
If you’re working through the Battle Pass, the VMP and TR51 Para should be high-priority unlocks, especially if you enjoy aggressive multiplayer loadouts.
Season 6 Events: Camos, DOOM & More
The Camo Party event challenges players across Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone. Completing weapon-category challenges unlocks the Arcblade and a variety of themed camos, including animated rewards.
Then there’s the major DOOM Event Pass.
The free track includes Operator skins for Wei Lin and Falkner, along with the Roc 20mm Special Weapon. The premium track goes much further, featuring the Doom Slayer Operator, the Doom Guy skin, weapon blueprints, and additional DOOM-themed rewards.
Black Ops 7 Season 6 Quick Tips
Ranked players: Adjust to the shorter match times and start stacking wins early.
Zombies players: Prioritize Tenshu, Rex Infernus Directed Mode, and the Super Easter Egg if you want the biggest exclusive rewards.
Weapon grinders: Unlock the returning VMP and TR51 Para early, then work through the weekly challenges for additional camos, attachments, and XP.
DOOM fans: Don’t overlook the Event Pass. Its exclusive rewards make it one of the season’s biggest limited-time progression tracks.
