If you're struggling to gather Opticide, Fresh Meat, reputation, or Legendary Runes, this guide will break down the most efficient farming methods so you can maximize your time and rewards. Some players also choose to buy Diablo 4 Gold to speed up certain upgrades, but efficient material farming will remain one of the most reliable ways to progress throughout the season.

Best Ways to Farm Opticide (Masterworking Material)

The first major material you'll need in Season 12 is Opticide, which is required to Masterwork your gear. Most players immediately think of Infernal Hordes, but they are actually not the most efficient source.

Infernal Hordes (Baseline Method)

In Infernal Hordes:

· Spend 1,000 Aether

· Open the material chest

· Receive ~200 Opticide

· Even Bloodied Infernal Hordes do NOT increase the Opticide reward.

Recommended Setup

1. Only run the Blue Compass version:

· 6 Waves → ~200 Opticide

· 8 Waves → Similar efficiency

So even if you don't get Refinement every time, the drops are still valuable.

· Helltides

Right now, Helltides are the best place for nearly every material in Season 12.

Bonus Gold Farm: Vile Splendor Sigils

While crafting sigils, watch for one modifier:

Vile Splendor

This modifier spawns Gilded Aether Minions, which drop:

· Millions of gold

If you see it, absolutely run that sigil.

Best Way to Farm Fresh Meat

Fresh Meat is used for gambling Bloodied items. The best source in the game is the Broiler's Lair boss.

Normal Broiler Kill

Unlike other bosses, the Broiler drops Fresh Meat even on normal difficulty.

The best reputation farming activity is once again Infernal Hordes.

· 8 Waves → Good

Blood Soaked Difficulty Warning
