Legacy Unique Items Overview
Nemesis Bracers
Nemesis Bracers spawn an elite pack when you click a shrine. This item is largely unusable for most players because shrines are extremely rare in Diablo 4 compared to Diablo 3. The only potential use case is a support player in tower group pushes, but it likely won't be competitive. This item may be intended for a future mercenary gearing system rather than current gameplay.
In-Geom
In-Geom has the same effect as the old Elderin item, but Elderin itself has been changed. The new Elderin appears to have a 35% execute mechanic, making it potentially useful in group play or for Torment 15 boss fights. Outside of group play, In-Geom is likely not worth using. You could swap it in to execute bosses at 35% health, but this is arguably poor design.
Henri's Perquisition
Henri's Perquisition converts your dexterity into your main stat. It could be useful for builds that already stack dexterity (like Sorcerers with dexterity glyphs). If you have multiple all-stat transfigurations, this item gains more value. It is a niche item that you would only use when you have nothing better to equip.
Lorax Crown
Lorax Crown comes from Diablo 3 and allows you to optimize around a single resistance type. For example, if a Torment 15 boss deals extreme fire damage, you could socket flawless rubies in your jewelry and crown to become incredibly tanky against that damage type.
Key Combo: Lorax Crown + Stone of Jordan. Stack three rubies in your jewelry and two in the crown to achieve extremely high single resistance, making this combo potentially very strong.
Stone of Jordan
Stone of Jordan provides some damage as a mythic version (50-65%) and a good amount of defense. While the damage is worse than most offensive aspects, it offers a strong defensive benefit. It could be the savior for defensively weaker builds like Necromancer.
Combo: Stone of Jordan + Lorax Crown + massively buffed single resistance rolls on gear = potentially high defense and solid offense.
The Furnace
The Furnace is a very strong item that was not previewed. It gives 200% extra elite damage (260% as a mythic). This is significantly higher than typical aspects (60% damage on aspects, 120% on Grandfather). Elite damage also works on bosses. This item is likely BiS for any build that can run it, especially Barbarians with multiple weapon slots. It also has a secondary benefit—trash monsters die slower while elites die faster, bringing time-to-kill closer together and potentially benefiting builds that scale with density.
Squirt's Necklace
Squirt's Necklace is a copy of the Diablo 3 item. You deal more damage but take 50% increased damage at all times. As a mythic, it goes up to 65% extra damage. It is strong if you can survive it and may be enabled by Stone of Jordan's defensive bonuses. It could make its way into many builds.
Arioc's Needle
Arioc's Needle provides Deadly Strike, a Diablo 2 mechanic that functions similarly to critical strike chance but may work with damage over time. Deadly Strike is exclusive to this item—there are no other sources. It might be a solution for non-crit builds, particularly damage over time builds, effectively giving them a way to "crit." The exact mechanics are still being tested.
Mythic Crafting Changes
Upgrade to Mythic Recipe
You can now take a regular unique with all its stats, greater affixes, and tempers and upgrade it directly into a mythic version. Everything gets maxed, and you get the higher effect. This is a true upgrade, as intended.
Important: On the PTR, you can equip multiple crafted mythics. This is likely broken and will be limited to one per character on live servers, as previously announced.
Crafting Sources
Blacksmith: Appears to give any unique (iconic or not) as a mythic
Jeweler: Allows crafting by category (gloves, boots, one-handed) but requires runes that are difficult to farm. The patch notes said crafting would be class-specific, but this does not appear to be working correctly on PTR
Mythic Charms
Regular unique charms can now appear as mythic charms with 30% extra power on their affixes. The beige-colored text indicates a mythic charm. You cannot craft mythic charms—they are exclusively endgame chase drops. Even if you take a mythic item and turn it into a charm; it becomes a regular ancestral unique, not a mythic charm.
Stat Changes
Single Resistance Rolls Massively Buffed
Individual resistance rolls have been heavily buffed. Previously, single resistances were useless and you always wanted to roll them off. Now they are very valuable.
Comparison:
Single resistance roll: ~3,000 resistance
All resistance roll: ~400 per resistance type
Since there are six resistance types, all resistance totals to 2,400 when multiplied. Single resistance rolls are overvalued compared to all resistance rolls. This applies to gear and charms. Single resistance rolls on charms can appear in the second slot alongside skill ranks.

Stone of Jordan + Lorax Crown combo becomes even more viable
Optimizing for specific damage types on elites or Torment 15 bosses is now more effective
Even without Stone of Jordan, single resistance rolls are strong
Meta Predictions
Warlock
Warlock is looking extremely good with all its changes. This may be the Warlock season after seasons 13 and 14 were underwhelming for the class.
Barbarian
Barbarian is looking promising with new item options (The Furnace, Arioc's Needle) and will likely remain strong.
Necromancer
Necromancer has had it rough recently and will continue to be defensively weak. Stone of Jordan may help by providing defense in offensive slots.
Torment 15 Bosses
Torment 15 bosses are expected to have long fights even for the best builds. Items like In-Geom (execute) and resistance-stacking combos may become relevant for these fights.
