What happens when Madden 27 plays out the entire NFL Week 2 schedule? Last season, Madden 26 finished the regular-season prediction challenge with a 172-100 record, giving this year's simulations plenty of attention from football fans.
This time, Madden 27 projects several convincing wins, a handful of late-game thrillers, and one particularly close battle between the Bengals and Texans. Here are the biggest results from the simulation and the games worth watching.
Bills Dominate the Lions
Buffalo 41, Detroit 28
Josh Allen leads the Bills to another strong offensive performance, throwing two touchdowns and adding one on the ground. James Cook III takes over after halftime with two rushing scores, while Jared Goff throws three touchdowns but also gives up two interceptions.
Detroit's fourth-quarter comeback arrives too late. Buffalo moves to 2-0 in the simulation.
Panthers Stay Hot
Carolina 30, Atlanta 10
Bryce Young and the Panthers continue their offensive momentum with another 30-point performance. Tetairoa McMillan catches a 44-yard touchdown, while Chuba Hubbard adds a one-yard score in the fourth quarter.
Carolina controls the game from start to finish, leaving Atlanta chasing points for most of the afternoon.
Bears Survive the Vikings
Chicago 20, Minnesota 18
The Vikings nearly steal this one late, but Chicago holds on.
Caleb Williams connects with Cole Kmet for an 11-yard touchdown in the third quarter, while Cairo Santos adds a 54-yard field goal. Minnesota cuts the deficit to two points late but fails to convert a two-point attempt.
Eagles Roll Past Titans
Philadelphia 24, Tennessee 3
Philadelphia's rushing attack does most of the damage. Saquon Barkley breaks loose for a 60-yard run before adding a 13-yard rushing touchdown.
The Titans manage only three points all game, keeping Philadelphia undefeated in the simulation.
Bengals vs. Texans: Week 2 Thriller
Cincinnati 30, Houston 27
This is the game Madden 27 turns into a genuine nail-biter.
Joe Burrow and C.J. Stroud both finish without a turnover. With less than two minutes remaining, Burrow engineers a seven-play, 70-yard drive, ending with Tee Higgins catching the go-ahead touchdown with 49 seconds left.
Houston gets one final chance, but a 57-yard field-goal attempt misses.
Cincinnati escapes 30-27.
More Simulated Results

What Madden 27 Is Predicting
The simulation paints a clear picture of Week 2's strongest performers, with the Bills, Eagles, Ravens, 49ers and Chiefs all projected to continue winning. Meanwhile, the Bengals-Texans matchup stands out as the closest projected battle.
Of course, Madden simulations are entertainment, not guarantees. Injuries, turnovers, coaching decisions and unexpected performances can completely change a real NFL game.
