MLB The Show 26  has released a significant update featuring the new Mural Series. This guide provides instructions for earning free packs, completing the program, and acquiring new diamond players.

The Mural Series Program Overview

The Mural Series cards are visually similar to the Cityscape series with minor modifications. The program includes several free cards obtainable through various game modes.

Key Free Cards in the Program

Adrián Morehon – Players who have accumulated 600 strikeouts over the first two months of the game and 250 K PXP will unlock this card immediately.

Hunter Goodman – A solid card with significant power. He is eligible at corner outfield, first base, and catcher.

Grady Sizemore – The Twins first base coach. He should receive Twins team captain eligibility.

The Collection

Moments

Johnny Damon has a effective swing.

Anthony Volpe's card provides adequate performance.

Fernando Tatis Jr. has 85 power and is capable of hitting home runs.

Contact hitters are less effective in this game. Perfect-perfect line outs occur frequently. Players with 125 power do not produce line outs when getting under the ball.

Diamond Quest

A new Diamond Quest map is available. Diamond Quest encourages higher difficulty play, which may frustrate some users. Failure to obtain desired players can be disappointing.

Strategy: On the first playthrough, complete all moment challenges. Play on Legend difficulty to guarantee rewards. The stadium challenge may be skipped entirely by exiting when selecting difficulty.

The Legend Final Game – Score multiple runs. Power hitters like Aaron Judge are effective at Fenway Park. Completing every moment challenge should yield 100 percent completion on Hall of Fame difficulty.

Conquest

The new Conquest map is titled May Flowers. The gameplay loop remains consistent with previous Conquest maps: expand, reinforce, attack strongholds, and repeat. Completion rewards a free Ralph Kiner (85 contact, 90 vision and clutch, adequate power).

Conquest recommendations:

Play on All-Star or Veteran difficulty.

Expand territory, build forces, then attack strongholds.

Use high-quality relievers such as Kenley Jansen to secure close games.

A function to automatically complete the map after capturing all strongholds would be beneficial.

Spotlight Programs

The spotlight program includes Travis d'Arnaud and Yandy Diaz. Yandy Diaz provides high contact, vision, and clutch with moderate power. His swing is consistently effective.

For home run moments with players like d'Arnaud, patience is required. Tall players such as Spencer Jones (6'7") are also capable of hitting home runs.

The Moonshot Event

The Moonshot event will be available soon and includes Mike Moustakas, a valuable card worth acquiring.

Mini Seasons

Mini Seasons remains an effective grinding method. It rewards lower-tier cards needed for collections. Langford, Sutter, and other 91 overall cards sell for approximately 4,000 stubs each. Four such cards provide significant progress toward Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

Opening Packs

After completing Conquest, Diamond Quest, and programs, a substantial number of packs will accumulate.

Armed Forces Weekend pack – Contains jerseys, socks, and a bat skin.
