How to Start the MM2 The Hunt 20 Quest
The first step is to open the event quest menu.
Open the Event Quest UI
Look at the bottom of your screen for the 20 Event button. Select it to open the event quest interface.
The quest asks you to:
Collect coins around MM2 maps to complete this quest.
You need to collect 50 Coins in total. There are no complicated objectives, special items, or difficult bosses involved. Simply play rounds and pick up the Coins that appear around the map.
For players who already have the Elite Game Pass, completing the quest can be even faster. A single match may provide enough Coins to reach the required total.
If you die during a round, you can simply wait for the next match and continue collecting Coins.
How to Collect 50 Coins in MM2
Collecting Coins is straightforward, even if you have never played Murder Mystery 2 before.
Once a round starts, Coins will appear around the current map. Walk over to them to collect them automatically.
Collect Coins During Each Round
You do not need to complete any special action to pick up a Coin. Simply move your character toward it and touch it.
Continue collecting Coins throughout the round until you reach 50 total Coins for the event quest.
Your progress is tracked through the event quest, so you can check how many Coins you still need.
For example, if you have collected 41 Coins, you only need nine more. Once you reach 50, the quest will be completed.
What Happens After You Collect 50 Coins?
After collecting the final Coin, you will receive a completion message confirming that you have finished the MM2 quest.
The game then tells you to return to the hub to claim your prize and continue your journey through time.
At this point, head back to the main event hub and look for the reward.
The Hunt 20 Reward May Be Temporarily Glitched
Although completing the Coin requirement is simple, there is an important issue with the event reward.
The event hub may currently be experiencing a glitch that prevents the reward item from being given immediately after completing the quest.
Wait If the Item Does Not Appear
If you have collected all 50 Coins but cannot claim the item in the hub, you have likely completed the quest successfully but are encountering the reward issue.
There is no additional Coin requirement that you need to complete. The reward itself may simply not be available yet because of the current hub issue.
Keep an eye on the event hub for the reward to become available rather than repeatedly completing the same Coin objective.

Explore the Old Maps

Hotel 2014 is one of the returning locations, giving players a chance to revisit an older version of the map.
Some of these maps look very different from the versions players are familiar with today. Older layouts can also contain features that were changed or removed in later versions, making them interesting to explore even after you have completed the event quest.
The returning maps are separate from the Coin requirement, but they give players something extra to experience while working toward the 50-Coin goal.

The bundle costs 800 Robux.
At the time of the event, the shop may not properly display everything included in the bundle, so check the Item Shop directly before deciding whether you want to purchase it.
