Path of Exile 2 is filled with complex mechanics, hidden objectives, and rewarding side quests that keep players constantly engaged. Among the many intriguing points of interest in the game, Two Wishes stands out as one of the more mysterious quests in the Interludes. This optional challenge requires players to track down two rare items, Yoon's Barya and Rangeen's Barya, and then make important choices that directly affect their loot. While the quest might sound straightforward, it can be confusing or even overlooked by those eager to rush toward the main storyline.

This guide will break down how to complete the Two Wishes quest step by step, the location of the Baryas, the mechanics of the Pedestals, and the best reward options to maximize your progress.
Finding the Two Baryas in Path of Exile 2
The first step to completing Two Wishes is obtaining the quest items themselves: Yoon's Barya and Rangeen's Barya. Much like the collectible Mushrooms from Act 3, these are not items you can simply buy or trade for. Instead, they drop randomly from monsters inside the Sel Khari Sanctuary, a map accessible during the Interludes.
The good news is that while the drops are technically random, clearing the entire map guarantees both items will appear. This design ensures players who fully explore the sanctuary won't leave empty-handed. It also encourages thorough map clearing, a habit that benefits those farming for gear upgrades, unique items, and POE 2 Currency along the way.
Locating the Pedestals
Once you've secured both Baryas, the next stage is to locate the corresponding Pedestals. These are special altars where you'll use the items to summon each Djinn and unlock your wishes.
Yoon's Pedestal is always located in a small chamber on the southwestern side of the map.
Rangeen's Pedestal can be found on the opposite end, in the northeastern section of the sanctuary.
The layout is fixed, so once you've memorized the directions, finding them on repeat playthroughs becomes much easier.
Making Your Wish
Interacting with either pedestal allows you to spend the corresponding Barya to receive one of three reward options. Both Djinn offer identical choices:
Wish for an Amulet: Presents four random rare Amulets, and you choose one.
Wish for a Ring: Presents four random rare Rings, and you choose one.
Wish for a Jewel: Presents three random rare Jewels, and you choose one.
Each pedestal gives you one opportunity, meaning you'll get two picks total, one from Yoon and one from Rangeen. However, there's an important twist: once you make a choice at one pedestal, that option is removed from the other. For example, if you claim a Jewel from Yoon's Pedestal, the Jewel option will no longer appear when interacting with Rangeen's Pedestal. This mechanic forces you to sacrifice one category entirely.
