Path of Exile 3.30 launches on November 13, 2026 (PST). In its October 12 announcement, GGG also confirmed that Curse of the Allflame ends on November 9, 2026, at 1 PM PST. Those dates set the deadline for 3.29 challenge rewards and the start of the next expansion.
This update is for PoE 1, with full details coming at ExileCon 2026. The timeline announcement does not include an exact launch hour, pre-download arrangements or full patch notes. Balance changes and the new league's mechanics still await further announcements.
For current players, the remaining window matters most if a challenge reward is still within reach. Returning players have a confirmed launch date, but the information needed to judge the expansion or commit to a starter build is still to come.
When Does Path of Exile 3.30 Launch?
GGG has confirmed November 13, 2026, as the Path of Exile 3.30 release date, using Pacific Standard Time. The exact launch hour remains unannounced, so the date alone is not enough to finalize a group start or a precise time-off request.
Depending on the eventual start time, players in Europe, Asia and Oceania may see a different local launch date. That conversion will be possible once GGG announces the hour.
ExileCon 2026 Reveal Schedule
Path of Exile 3.30 will be revealed during ExileCon 2026. Players can watch on the official Path of Exile Twitch channel, with the following broadcast times already confirmed:
Event | Time (PST) |
Day One Livestream | November 6, 12 PM |
Day One Keynote | November 6, 1 PM |
Day Two Livestream | November 7, 12 PM |
GGG has not yet released the full event schedule. The keynote start time does not establish the exact time of the 3.30 presentation.
The reveal and subsequent patch notes will provide the basis for checking main skills, Ascendancies and essential items in prospective league starters. Current information is insufficient to rank builds or predict map returns and boss rewards.
When Does the 3.29 League End?
Path of Exile 3.29 Curse of the Allflame ends on November 9, 2026, at 1 PM PST (4 PM EST / 9 PM UTC). The relevant challenges must be completed before that deadline to earn their cosmetic rewards. Spending POE Currency on gear for a final challenge push only helps if there is also time to complete the remaining objectives.
The regular league has 40 challenges, with these four main cosmetic rewards:
Challenges Completed | Cosmetic Reward |
12 | Oceanic Weapon Effect |
24 | Fangtooth Moray Pet |
32 | Captain's Wheel Back Attachment |
36 | Oceanic Portal Effect |
All four main cosmetics unlock by 36/40, leaving four challenges players can skip. Completing challenges also awards pieces of the Allflame Challenger Trophy Hideout Decoration, giving collectors a reason to continue beyond 36.
These cosmetics also work in Path of Exile 2 and do not increase character power. Ruthless uses separate thresholds of 2, 4, 6 and 8 challenges.
If you have 30 completed challenges, two more unlock the Captain's Wheel Back Attachment. Check which unfinished objectives your current build can complete before November 9.
What Happens to Characters and Currency?
When the PoE challenge league ends, characters and stash contents migrate to their corresponding permanent leagues. They do not simply disappear. Old stash tabs normally become remove-only tabs, allowing withdrawals but no further deposits.
Your accumulated 3.29 POE Currency remains in the corresponding permanent league. The new 3.30 challenge league starts with a separate economy, so old equipment and currency cannot supply its new characters. Earned challenge cosmetics remain in your account collection and can be used in later leagues.
During the November 9 to 13 gap, permanent leagues such as Standard remain an option. Existing characters there can still be played, and migrated 3.29 characters can continue once their transfer finishes.
The closed 3.29 league's challenges cannot be completed during that gap. GGG has not confirmed whether Allflame mechanics will enter the core game.
What Should You Do Before 3.30?
Players finished with their challenge goals can continue their permanent-league characters once migration completes. Any remaining POE Currency can fund equipment for those characters; it does not need to be saved for the fresh league.
Players still pursuing rewards have until November 9 at 1 PM PST. Waiting until ExileCon begins on November 6 leaves only about three days for remaining conditions and failed attempts.
The next reward threshold and the unfinished objectives are the useful starting points for deciding whether another push is worthwhile.
Returning players can use the ExileCon reveal and patch notes to assess whether 3.30's changes appeal to them. Before launch, the outstanding practical details are the exact start time, client update arrangements and item filter compatibility.
Build decisions should reflect the announced changes, rather than assumptions carried over from 3.29.
