1. Campfire Buffs and General Fixes

Players can now buff allies, cast spells, and craft while waiting for a campfire buff instead of remaining inactive. Campfire buffs can also activate while sitting, sleeping, lying down, or using the kneel emote.

The patch fixes caster animations, water jump sounds, Human death sounds, pet happiness, Undercity canal visuals, fog settings, Mac display artifacts, memory leaks, and surname-related mail issues. Several Season of Discovery and pet-related bugs were also corrected.

2. Talent Testing Becomes Much Easier

During the beta, players who have not recently changed talents can now respecialize for 1 silver. After the first reset, the cost becomes higher, but it returns to 1 silver after one hour.

This makes the beta much better for testing different builds. Players can experiment with multiple talent paths without spending large amounts of gold.

3. Major Class Changes

Druids receive several improvements. Rejuvenation, Tranquility, and Wild Growth can now critically heal, while Wrath's base damage increases by 50%. Thorns also dynamically scales with the caster's Spell Power.

Hunters receive adjustments to Furious Howl, pet training, Lone Wolf, and Survival abilities. Lasting Strikes can critically strike, while Strider Kick now provides 30% movement speed.

Mages receive important leveling improvements. Arcane Missiles checks line of sight only when the channel begins, while Fire Mage receives longer Wake of Fire and Hot Streak durations.

Paladins receive extensive changes. Holy Strike gains stronger damage scaling and a 10-second cooldown, while Improved Holy Strike is removed and its effect becomes baseline. Consecration receives multiple bug fixes, and several Retribution and Holy talents are adjusted.

Priests gain improvements to Renew, Power Word: Shield, and other spell interactions. Dark Sacrifice no longer breaks crowd control that normally breaks from damage.

Shamans receive Lightning Bolt and Lava Burst improvements, while several totem effects can no longer stack in unintended ways. Warrior talents are also adjusted, including earlier access to Focused Rage and changes to Blood Thrill and Slam.

4. Professions, Items and Combat Systems

Tauren Cultivation now follows player-level requirements for herbs, allowing the racial ability to remain useful without requiring the same Herbalism progression.

Touch of the Grave receives additional restrictions so it no longer incorrectly breaks crowd control. Wands are also changed so they no longer gain extra damage from the user's Spell Damage, reducing their previous scaling.

Several quest rewards, weapon ammunition interactions, and early caster rewards have been corrected.

5. Cooldown Manager and Gamepad Support

The new Cooldown Manager can display important cooldown information in a customizable location. It is disabled by default and currently supports Druid, Mage, Priest, Warrior, and Warlock testing, with more classes planned.

Gamepad users also receive improved interface support, including class-specific flyouts for Druid forms, Hunter and Warlock pets, Paladin auras, buy WOW Forever Gold, and Warrior stances.

6. Known Issues

The build still has some limitations. Certain debuffs may not track correctly after changing targets, some cooldowns cannot yet be tracked, and spell ranks are not fully supported by the Cooldown Manager.

Party composition changes may also move players to another world instance. Blizzard is continuing to improve these systems during the beta.
