Phoenix Lost Void Gears
Phoenix receives three new Lost Void Gears in the Zenless Zone Zero 3.3.3 beta, with several effects designed to improve her personal damage while also strengthening the entire team's Anomaly performance.
Fate's Verdict
Fate's Verdict helps Phoenix generate Blaze more consistently. Whenever another character on the team triggers an Anomaly effect on an enemy, Phoenix recovers 15 Blaze points, with a five-second cooldown. This means Phoenix no longer needs to rely entirely on her own attacks to build Blaze.
The gear also significantly improves her Basic Attack damage. One effect provides a 45% Basic Attack DMG increase, while another adds an additional 30%, resulting in a potential 75% increase across the two effects.
Fate's Verdict also allows Bloom to ignore 30% of an enemy's DMG Resistance, increasing its effectiveness against resistant targets. When teammates accumulate Anomaly Buildup, Phoenix can also recover Burn through the same trigger and cooldown.
Defy Death
Defy Death is arguably Phoenix's most important team-oriented Lost Void Gear. When Phoenix uses her EX Special Attack, Blazing Slash, she gains 300 Fanfare points, while the entire squad receives 60 Anomaly Proficiency for 20 seconds.
Even more importantly, the whole team gains the ability to ignore 24% of the target's DEF. Since this effect applies to the entire squad, its benefits aren't limited to Anomaly-focused characters.
Phoenix also restores an additional 20% of her maximum HP when triggering Resurrection or her Ultimate, Cinder Fire Soul Chaser. If her HP changes by more than 50% in a single instance, she gains a 50% Anomaly Buildup Rate increase for 60 seconds, giving her a lengthy offensive window.
Celestial Weightlessness
Celestial Weightlessness focuses heavily on team-wide Anomaly damage. When Phoenix lands a Burning attack, she gains a Burn stack every two seconds. Each stack increases the entire squad's Anomaly DMG by 10%.
The standard maximum is three stacks, but this Lost Void Gear increases the cap to six stacks, allowing Phoenix to provide up to 60% increased Anomaly DMG for the whole team.
The gear also has a special interaction with Flame Raid, Blazing Slash, and Phoenix's EX Special Attack. If she performs a Perfect Block, she immediately triggers a Bloom instance with a 300% multiplier, providing additional damage without requiring another full setup.
Sevarian Lost Void Gears
Sevarian's new Lost Void Gears focus more heavily on Basic Attacks, Energy management, EX Special Attacks, and critical damage.
Net of Justice
Net of Justice allows Sevarian to recover 0.4 Flowing Breath whenever another squad member consumes one point of Energy or Adrenaline. For example, if a teammate spends 50 Energy, Sevarian can recover 20 Flowing Breath.
His Gale Wind Shadow Hunt Basic Attack also receives a 50% damage increase. When Sevarian enters the field, he can additionally ignore 25% of the target's Wind RES for 12 seconds, improving his immediate damage output.
Buried Fury, Hidden Malice
Buried Fury, Hidden Malice provides a 60% damage increase to Sevarian's Fierce Spin Basic Attack.
The gear also introduces an interesting timing mechanic. During the first three hits of Swift Edge, pressing the attack at the precise moment an enemy attack is about to connect allows Sevarian to interrupt the sequence and immediately launch Fierce Spin.
This can happen once per hit, creating up to three opportunities within the attack string.
After using Blazing Spin, Sevarian gains 12% ATK, stacking twice for a maximum of 24% ATK. Each stack lasts 20 seconds, while Blazing Spin also restores six Energy.
Absolute Command
Absolute Command appears to be Sevarian's biggest damage-focused Lost Void Gear. It reduces the Energy cost of Swiftwind Rend to just 35, even when the ability is fully charged.
The attack also deals 40% additional DMG, making the fully charged version particularly attractive for burst windows.
After using Instant Wind Shatter, Sevarian gains 60% CRIT DMG for 20 seconds. When Instant Wind Shatter hits an enemy, it also reduces that enemy's DEF by 24% for 20 seconds, giving Sevarian a powerful combination of personal damage and enemy debuffing.
New Bagel Prism Effects
The 3.3.3 beta also introduces additional effects for every Bagel Prism. These changes expand the potential builds and interactions available through the system, giving players more reasons to experiment with different combinations.
Because the Prism effects have been expanded alongside the new Lost Void Gear options, the beta could significantly change how certain teams approach endgame content.
