Summary:
ARC Raiders Trials Season 6 starts on October 8, 2026, alongside the Frozen Trail update. After Season 5 ended on September 22, Trials will return with its weekly challenge and extraction-based scoring system. Trials unlock at Level 15 and use a 14-rank ladder from Rookie I to Cantina Legend. Frozen Trail also introduces a separate 60-tier Reward Pass with Free and Premium tracks, plus a new map, ARC Raiders Items, ARC enemies, Outpost, Weapon Amplification, and progression changes.
1. ARC Raiders Trials Season 6 Start Date
Trials Season 6 begins October 8, 2026, when Frozen Trail launches on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Season 5, titled Prove Your Mettle, ended on September 22, creating a roughly two-week Trials break.
The core Trials system remains similar. Players receive five weekly challenges, which rotate on Mondays. Objectives can include damaging Queens or Matriarchs, opening ARC Probes, or searching specific containers.
Trials unlock at Level 15. Points only count after you successfully extract, and the game keeps your best score for each challenge instead of simply stacking every run.
2. How the Trials Rank System Works
After earning at least one point, you are placed into a division of 100 Raiders at your current rank. Your position at the end of the weekly cycle determines your promotion or demotion.
The 14 ranks are:
Rookie I/II/III → Tryhard I/II/III → Wildcard I/II/III → Daredevil I/II/III → Hotshot → Cantina Legend
Promotion becomes harder at higher ranks. Strong finishes can give double or triple promotions, while lower placements can result in no movement or demotion. For example, Daredevil II has much stricter promotion and demotion thresholds than Rookie.
Cantina Legend is the highest title and is limited to the top 1,000 players in Hotshot.
3. What Happens to Your Rank in Season 6?
New Raiders start at Rookie I, but returning players do not completely reset. Instead, they begin roughly two ranks below their previous placement. For example, a Raider finishing Season 5 at Daredevil II could return around Wildcard III.
Your ranked cosmetics are also permanent. Outfits, emotes, and charms earned from Trials remain in your collection through voluntary Expedition resets. Weekly gear and material rewards follow normal inventory rules.
Embark has not confirmed the exact Season 6 ranked cosmetic names, so third-party reward names should be treated as unconfirmed.
4. Frozen Trail 60-Tier Reward Pass
Frozen Trail adds a separate 60-tier Reward Pass, which is not connected to the Trials ladder.
The Free Pass includes 200 Raider Tokens, five outfits, gameplay items, and around 20 cosmetic rewards. The Premium Pass costs 1,150 Raider Tokens and adds 50 more rewards. Completing it also returns 1,150 Raider Tokens, while the Free Pass adds another 200 Tokens.
The Premium track is cosmetic-focused and does not provide a competitive advantage. Players who want the full value need to progress through most of the 60 tiers.
5. Everything Else Coming With Frozen Trail
The October 8 update also introduces:
Pendola Pass, a large snow-covered map with Flash Freeze weather.
New ARC enemies including Bully, Skulker, and Hydra.
The Outpost, a persistent personal base.
Weapon Amplification through the Outpost Research Workstation.
A reworked progression and skill system.
The new map and enemies may also influence future Trials challenges, although the exact Season 6 challenge schedule has not been announced.
Overall, October 8 brings two separate progression systems: Trials Season 6 for competitive ranking and the Reward Pass for Feat-based progression, cheap ARC Raiders Items, alongside the major Frozen Trail content update.
