The Ashes of the Damned super Easter egg in Black Ops 7 Zombies ends with the Old Tessy toy on the shelf in Rex and Furnace. How do you start it, and where do the twins appear? You must finish the main Easter egg first, then complete a separate chain that ends with a successful exfil. Before You Start

Requirements and loadout

In Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Bot Lobbies, you can only attempt this after completing the main Easter egg. Solo players must never save and quit, because the quest needs one continuous run. Equip the Dark Flare field upgrade and stun grenades before loading in, so you don't waste salvage crafting them.

Find the Twins

Three randomly, randomly chosen spawn spots

When running cheap Black Ops 7 Bot Lobbies, play as per usual: place Ted's head on Old Tessy, go to either Blackwater Lake or the farm, turn on the generator. The twins' ghost randomly appears in each game by summoning from one of the three locations. Examine the platform beyond the jump pad opposite the Ashwood zip line, behind the lost cabin between Blackwater and Ashwood, and on the breached ship between Van Dorn Farm and Ashwood.

Go near them, and they vanish. Then put back the Ashwood bridge power pump. After a while, the twins will sit on the Van Dorn barn roof in the direction of the windmill. If they don't, find them.

This step is to reward liking from the patient scouting.

Build the Gauntlet

Uber Claus to Necrofluid

Power the next spot, then push right around 8 where a capsule spawns in Janice Towers Plaza with Uber Claus in it. Kill him and his core for the stabilizer chip. Put it into the Ashwood jail cell then fire two stun grenades at the wall (quickly). Clouse will activate after 10 15 seconds.

Bring him to the Cosmo Drome underground, open Support Systems, and summon him to the control panel. Stand in the scanner for 1 minute, as purple-eyed zombies enter the round. Bring the ether barrel to the Ashwood Bridge, Blackwater Lake, and Van Dorn Farm generators and wait for each meter to fill.

Finally, deposit the energy in the cellar box and match the 3 rooftop symbols. Solo players can pause to record them. Use the eye to receive the gauntlet, then shoot all 6 green orbs and reload them in

Open the Toy Box

Windmill and Dark Flare

Shoot the windmill toy box a couple times with the gauntlet, then reload. Use a fully charged Dark Flare field upgrade on the box to make it drop. The twins will appear as a ghost, saying they need a toy.

Player returning from upgrade. A card from the returning player's hand should be used to charge the upgrade.

Hunt Forest Crystals

This is the hardest step. First, get a fumigator; the spawn room is the easiest item to pick up. For Monolith Forest, find it between Blackwater Lake and Janice Towers Plaza. Three pink crystals are concealed on building columns, with their placement varying at random.

Play each crystal with the gauntlet, then interact with the fumigator until a beam is shot. Monkey bombs, ether shroud, Juggernog stamina, full plates is a good buy you looking time.

3rd crystal: a meteor crashes at the banks of Blackwater Lake. Fumigate it and survive one round, then take the shard from the split meteor.

This can be best handled by high-level players who have good survivability.

Exfil With Tessy

Deliver the shard,

Give the shard to the Van Dorn toy box for goodies and the Old Tessy toy. On the exfil round immediately following, phone in and kill the HVT on the clock. Only the completed exfil combat /prizes count. It turns up in Rex and Furnace.

Can anyone do it alone?

Yes, but you can't save and quit. The entire quest has to be done in one sitting. Taking the time out to journal the rooftop symbols is a handy solo trick.

So what if the Twins aren't on the barn roof?

Find them again at any of the 3 spawn spots. They will have to disappear again before the barn-roof stage will work.

Final Judgement: Do you own a Fumigator for the crystals?

Yes. You can't do anything with the ground shards without at least one. The starter room has the easiest guaranteed one, but most areas have them.
