Once you hit level 45 in Blade & Soul NEO Classic, much new content becomes available. One of the first things you'll notice is a bunch of quest letters popping up. To check them, press J and go to the “Quest Letters” tab. Accept everything you see, as these will unlock content like Mushin's Tower, dungeons, and daily missions.
Faction Dailies in Misty Woods
After grabbing all your quest letters, head over to Misty Woods for your faction's daily quests. Even though Misty Woods is technically an open-world PvP zone, most players don't bother fighting — they're just there to complete their dailies too.
These faction dailies are usually quick. Some just require you to kill a few mobs or complete collection objectives. One of the quests involves a tougher boss with a lot of HP, but it's easy to handle if you group up with others.
The reason these quests matter is because they give you faction tokens. With just 25 tokens, you can buy designs for weapons and accessories. After that, go to the Transmute tab, and you can craft strong gear using these designs. All it takes is some Jewel Powder (which you get from salvaging accessories) and a bit of gold — around 2 gold per craft.
These crafted accessories are powerful and will boost your Attack Power (AP) significantly. You can even craft the Siren weapon, which is one of the best-in-slot weapons in the game at this stage.
Don't Forget Crimson Beach Outpost Dailies
Besides Misty Woods, head to the Crimson Beach Outpost (or Cyan Beach if you're with the other faction). There are more daily faction quests there, and they also reward you with the stones needed to craft your legendary accessories.
Farming the War Boss
There's a field boss that spawns on the map and is usually surrounded by a bunch of players farming it. Head to the area and join in. As long as you do enough damage, you'll get a reward chest and an Essence.
With the essence, you can spin a wheel nearby. This gives out rewards like Soul Shield chests, which are a major upgrade from earlier shields like Pinchy's. These new shields give a ton more HP and better stats overall.
Try to get all 8 pieces of the new Soul Shield set. Ideally, aim for pieces with crit stats, but even if you don't, just having all 8 will give you a big power boost.
Side Quests Are Worth Doing
If you skipped side quests while leveling, now's a good time to go back and complete them. While they aren't hard, they give a lot of silver. Finishing them all can easily net you around 40 gold, which is great for this stage in the game.
Gold is needed for crafting and upgrading, so doing these easy blue quests (non-repeatable side quests) is a solid way to build up your funds.
Dungeons and Blue Quests
After getting your Siren weapon and a few good accessories, you should be over 500 AP, which is enough to start tackling blue dungeons. These include:
• The Spider Dungeon
• The Monkey Dungeon (name might vary)
These dungeons drop useful loot and skill books to upgrade your abilities. Doing them regularly will help you progress much faster.
Another Important Field Boss
There's another field boss near Misty Woods faction vendors. Like the other one, just head over with other players and DPS it down.
This one drops a chest that has a chance to contain outfits. If you're lucky and get an outfit chest, you can salvage it for Moonwater Soul Badge Fragments. Collect enough of these, and you can trade them at a vendor (usually at Mushin's Tower) for a random Soul Badge.
Soul Badges are a big DPS boost, but they're locked behind RNG and grinding. You can get outfits by spinning the wheel after the boss, or you can buy guaranteed ones with 10 essences, though that's not really recommended since it takes too long. Spinning the wheel is the more efficient option.
Free Ring from a Field Boss
There's another field boss near the same area that always drops a decent ring. This ring isn't as good as the crafted or Siren ring, but it's a solid placeholder if you haven't crafted your best gear yet.
This boss can also drop cards, which you can register to build out your card collection. The drop rate isn't too bad — you might get it after a few kills.
Wrapping It All Up
Here's a quick summary of what you should focus on after hitting level 45:
1. Press J and accept all quest letters.
2. Do daily Misty Woods faction dailies for tokens and crafting materials.
3. Complete Crimson Beach/Cyan Beach faction dailies too.
4. Farm the war boss for Soul Shields and Essences.
5. Spin the wheel after bosses to try for outfit chests and Soul Badge fragments.
6. Complete all side quests to earn gold.
7. Run blue dungeons for gear, skill books, and progression.
8. Farm another field boss for a free ring and cards.
If you stay consistent with these activities, you'll quickly reach a strong power level and be ready for more advanced content. You don't need to spend money — just commit to farming the field bosses and doing your dailies, and your character will improve steadily. During this time, you’ll get more Blade and Soul NEO Divine Gems and rare items, so act fast.
