All four familiar modes return: Non-Expansion Ladder, Non-Expansion Hardcore Ladder, Expansion Ladder, and Expansion Hardcore Ladder. That gives players plenty of options for their fresh-start grind.

Manald Heal Goes From “Again?” to “Runald”

It still won’t replace top-tier endgame rings. But during leveling and early-to-midgame progression, that extra movement speed makes the ring much more appealing—especially for melee characters that benefit from better mobility and sustained resources. The community joke practically writes itself: Manald Heal has evolved from “Again, Manald?” into “Runald.”

More Uniques Are Getting Buffed
Manald Heal isn’t the only winner. Bloodletter gains 20% Faster Run/Walk, while Battlebranch gets a lower item level and level requirement, making it easier to equip early. Rogue’s Bow gains Amazon-specific +1–3 Cold Arrow or Fire Arrow, and Pluckeye gets 25% Increased Attack Speed.
Several caster and mobility options also improve. Bane Ash swaps its 20% Increased Attack Speed and Enhanced Damage for 20% Faster Cast Rate, Gravenspine gains 10% Faster Cast Rate, and Blinkbat’s Form gets 30% Faster Run/Walk instead of 10%, plus Mana per Kill.

Sunder Charms also get a major rule change: their minimum drop level rises from 69 to 75. MF-based Sunder Charm drops will now occur only in Hell difficulty, with a reduced drop rate, while Herald drop rates remain unaffected.
Worldstone Fragments and Ancient Statues become less common, but Worldstone Fragments now grant one additional item, giving players a new reason to prioritize them.
