The Photo Challenge requires you to photograph any McLaren at the Bamboo Forest. Head toward the dirt road near the Arashiyama Run Speed Zone and drive directly into the bamboo rather than staying on the road. Open Photo Mode and take a picture once the car is clearly inside the forest.
Treasure Hunt and Seasonal Events
The Shimanoyama Treasure Hunt takes place on a dirt road toward the southern part of the region. Look near the lower-right side of the lake, around the curve below the Lake View Speed Trap. Drive to the location and smash the treasure chest to collect the reward.
The Cult Street seasonal championship uses D-class Cult Cars. It consists of three races, with the championship going to the driver who earns the most points.
The Shimanoyama Drift Attack requires 80,000 points with a UK car in A Class. Eligible manufacturers include Ariel, Aston Martin, Bentley, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lotus, McLaren, MG, Mini, Noble, Radical, TVR, and others. An off-road Ariel can make the requirement particularly easy because of its natural sliding ability.
PR Stunts
The Azure Dive Danger Sign requires 210 meters with a UK B-Class car. The 2003 Aston Martin DB7 GT is a practical option. Build up speed on the downhill approach and keep the car straight over the off-road section.
At the Tall Trees Speed Zone, you need an average speed of 113 km/h using a UK A-Class off-road car. The 2016 Ariel Nomad works well here. Start from the left side to build speed before entering the zone, then manage the turns carefully while maintaining momentum.
The Sikibbe Kai Trailblazer requires finishing with at least 42 seconds remaining in a UK A-Class car. The Ariel Nomad can also handle this challenge. Build speed before entering, stay on the beach, and avoid driving through deep water whenever possible.
The Trial and Multiplayer Events
The weekly Winter Rallies Trial pits a team of players against Unbeatable Drivatars. You need to win two of the three races. The 1986 MG Metro 6R4 is a strong accessible choice because of its handling and control characteristics.
