Ultimate and Talent
The Ultimate provides Evanescia's main damage multiplier, while her Talent adds Elation damage to the Ultimate she unleashes. Although Attack still contributes to her damage, Elation damage is generally more important for her overall build.
After these two Traces, level her Elation Skill. The skill itself is not necessarily impressive as a single hit, but it is used repeatedly during combat and contributes meaningful extra damage over time.
Her regular Skill is also worth leveling. Evanescia generally prefers using her Skill instead of Basic ATK when it is her turn, so investing some resources into this multiplier can improve her overall output.
Her Basic ATK is the lowest priority because it is rarely used in her typical teams.
Best Relics for Evanescia
The best overall Relic set for Evanescia is the Magical Girl set.
It increases her Crit Damage and allows her Elation damage to ignore part of the enemy's DEF, making it substantially better than temporary mixed sets.
Recommended Main Stats
For the Body, use Crit DMG. Evanescia can convert part of her Crit DMG into Elation, while her Traces already provide a large amount of Crit Rate.
For the Boots, ATK% is preferred. SPD is possible, but it can sometimes work against Evanescia because acting more frequently can cause her to lose Well Done points faster.
For the Planar Sphere, ATK% or Physical DMG can both work. If you have another Sphere with significantly better Crit substats, it can also be used temporarily.
For the Link Rope, Energy Regeneration Rate is the preferred option. More Energy not only lets Evanescia use her Ultimate more frequently, but also contributes to her damage through her kit's Energy conversion.
Recommended Substats
A useful Crit DMG target is around 230%, with more being better.
For Crit Rate, aim for around 70% in the character menu. If you are using Ywang's Light Cone on Evanescia's team, the practical target drops to around 60% because of the additional Crit Rate she gains during combat.
Attack is less important, but reaching roughly 2,000+ ATK is a useful milestone if your Relics allow it.
Best Planar Ornament
Punk Lord is the recommended Planar Ornament for Evanescia
It provides Crit DMG and increases her Elation-related stats, making it her preferred long-term option.
If you have not farmed a complete Punk Lord set yet, temporary Crit-focused Ornaments can work. Zumo is one option because it provides Crit Rate and works naturally with teams containing other Elation characters.
However, Zumo should be treated as a temporary solution. Punk Lord remains the preferred long-term choice.
Best Light Cones for Evanescia
Evanescia's signature Light Cone is a strong option. It provides a large amount of Crit DMG, Energy Regeneration, and increased damage taken by enemies.
The Energy Regeneration is particularly valuable because Evanescia converts Energy into additional damage while also relying on it to reach her Ultimate more frequently.
That said, her signature Light Cone is not mandatory.
Free-to-Play Options
The Mushroom Light Cone is one of her strongest accessible options. It increases Elation and can increase the damage enemies receive after using an Elation Skill. Its effect can also stack, making it useful for teams with multiple Elation characters.
The Battle Pass Light Cone is another option. It provides Elation and Crit Rate, although you need to monitor your Crit Rate carefully so that you do not exceed the useful 70% or 60% thresholds.
The newer 4.5 Light Cone can provide a large amount of Elation and allow attacks following an Elation Skill to partially ignore enemy DEF. It is usable as a temporary option, although the DEF-ignoring effect is less valuable for Evanescia because her Elation Skill is not her primary source of damage.
The 4.2 event Light Cone is another accessible choice. It provides Crit DMG and can increase the team's Elation after Evanescia uses her Ultimate. Its availability also makes it useful when the Mushroom Light Cone is needed by another Elation character.
Evanescia Eidolon Investment
For players deciding where to spend additional resources, Evanescia's E1 and E2 are particularly significant.
E1 vs. Signature Light Cone
Evanescia's E1 provides resistance penetration and allows Master Fox to trigger an Elation Skill outside her normal turn after attacking.
That extra action also provides additional Well Done, increasing Evanescia's attack frequency and improving her synergy with characters that benefit from frequent attacks.
Because of this, E1 is a stronger investment than her signature Light Cone according to the build recommendation in the source.
E2
E2 further increases Evanescia's Crit DMG and significantly improves her Energy generation.
Her traces already allow her to gain Well Done when allies gain or lose the resource. E2 makes these interactions much more effective, allowing her to regenerate Energy at a much faster rate in teams where Well Done changes frequently.
With a team built around Pearl and other Elation characters, this can allow Evanescia to cycle her Ultimate extremely frequently.
Best Evanescia Teams
Evanescia's strongest current setup is a Mono-Elation team, particularly one featuring Pearl.
Pearl can gain and lose Well Done stacks quickly, which generates a large amount of Energy for Evanescia. Since Pearl also performs best in a Mono-Elation setup, the two characters naturally complement each other.
Evanescia, Ywang and Pearl
A team built around Evanescia, Ywang, Pearl, and another suitable Elation character takes advantage of the resource generation at the center of Evanescia's kit.
Pearl's rapid Well Done changes can significantly accelerate Evanescia's Energy generation, while Ywang provides additional Energy and buffs.
This combination also takes advantage of the way Evanescia converts Energy into damage.
Older Evanescia Team
Evanescia can still work with her earlier team structure featuring Ywang, the Elation Trailblazer, and Ruo Ruo.
This setup provides straightforward Energy generation and enough support for Evanescia to build her resources and use her Ultimate.
The main weakness is sustain, so the team can be less comfortable in situations where survivability becomes a major concern.
Alternative Supports
The Elation Trailblazer can be replaced with characters such as Mortx Blade or Robin Summer.
Robin Summer can provide Energy while also advancing Evanescia's action. However, action advance can sometimes cause Evanescia to lose Well Done more quickly.
A useful approach is to use Robin's action advance while Evanescia is already taking her turn. This lets Evanescia benefit from the additional Energy without unnecessarily forcing another full turn that could accelerate her Well Done loss.
Ywang is still particularly valuable because of the amount of Energy and buffs provided to Evanescia.
How to Build Evanescia for Maximum Ultimate Damage
The central idea behind Evanescia's build is balancing Crit DMG, Elation, and Energy Regeneration.
Her Ultimate is the main damage source, so increasing Ultimate frequency is just as important as improving its individual multiplier. This is why the Energy Regeneration Rope is so valuable.
At the same time, stacking excessive SPD can be counterproductive because Evanescia can lose large amounts of Well Done when she takes turns. ATK Boots therefore provide a more consistent option for her damage.
For Relics, prioritize Crit DMG and useful Crit substats, then make sure your Crit Rate does not exceed the effective cap provided by her Traces and team buffs.

For a standard Evanescia setup, prioritize her Ultimate and Talent, then invest in her Elation Skill and Skill.
