Path of Exile 2: How to Get and Use Raise Spectre

Even so far out from release day, the Witch remains one of the most potent classes in Path of Exile 2. It's a fast-moving, hard-hitting summon-focused behemoth capable of clearing a zone without lifting a finger, all thanks to the various undead she can pull forth from the mud. Well, it gets better. The Witch can now make use of Bind Spectre-or Raise Spectre-to draw powerful bonded spectres to her side. Here's how to get and use Raise Spectre in Path of Exile 2!

How to Get Raise Spectre (Bind Spectre)

Unlocking the Skill:

Bind Spectre is a mid-game skill and is available through the Occultist skill tree for the Witch.

You will need to allocate Spirit points to summon more potent spectres, as each spectre comes with a different Spirit cost.

You unlock this skill after reaching Level 26 and having 61 Intelligence (INT).

Skill Requirements:

The Raise Spectre gem itself costs 38 Mana per use, which can quickly add up, so managing your Mana is crucial.

Be sure to place the Raise Spectre gem in your skill tree and bind it to your action bar for easy use.

How to Use Raise Spectre (Bind Spectre)

Casting the Skill:

Once unlocked, you can use Raise Spectre by casting it on a corpse.

This will capture the spirit of the defeated monster, effectively summoning its ghost as a minion that fights on your behalf.

Summoning Spectres:

After capturing the spirit, you can summon your chosen spectre from the skill menu like any other minion.

Be sure to keep track of your Spirit capacity since different spectres cost different amounts of Spirit.

Spectre Quality and Type:

While it might be tempting to capture rare or unique monsters, rare monster modifiers do not carry over to the summoned spectre. This means that capturing the spirit of a rare monster won't result in a more powerful summon.

Instead, focus on selecting spectres that have useful abilities for your build, as they bring different bonuses to your gameplay.

Additional Tips

Spirit Management: Make sure you have a good amount of Spirit reserved for summoning your most powerful spectres. This will allow you to summon higher-tier creatures as you progress.

Strategic Summons: Opt for spectres that complement your build's playstyle. For example, consider summoning those with area-of-effect skills, strong defenses, or other synergies with your abilities.
