Summary
Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6 is finally here, and the latest update could completely reshape the Black Ops 7 meta. Raven Software has targeted several of the strongest weapons, including the AN-94, while giving previously overlooked guns a chance to compete. At the same time, Warzone gets Haunted Hollow, Giant Infected, new weapons, Ranked changes and a major Supply Drone rework.
If you want to know the Warzone Season 6 meta, here are the biggest changes you need to know before jumping into your next match.
Warzone Season 6 Meta: AN-94 Nerfed, Voyak and M15 Buffed
The biggest weapon change is easily the AN-94 nerf. The rifle had been dominating Warzone, so Raven Software has significantly reduced its effectiveness.
Its maximum damage drops from 41 to 38, while its damage ranges are also shorter. The headshot multiplier has been reduced from 1.3x to 1.2x, recoil increases by 12%, bullet velocity falls from 920m/s to 890m/s, and ADS speed is slower. In other words, the AN-94 is no longer the obvious automatic choice for the AR slot. For players, can buy Black Ops 7 Bot Lobbies for prepare.
The more interesting story is which weapons benefit from the shake-up.
The Voyak KT-3 looks like one of the biggest winners. Its maximum damage increases from 39 to 42, medium damage rises from 34 to 37, and minimum damage goes from 30 to 32. Warzone also gives it 8% less recoil and increases bullet velocity from 900m/s to 910m/s. That combination makes the Voyak a serious early candidate for the new meta.
The M15 MOD 0 is another weapon worth watching. Its medium damage increases from 26 to 27, minimum damage rises from 24 to 25, and its headshot multiplier jumps from 1.31x to 1.4x. That could make accurate players especially dangerous with the rifle.
The DS20 Mirage also receives a useful buff, with 10% less recoil and higher bullet velocity. Meanwhile, the EGRT-17 gets additional damage in its upper damage ranges.
VMP and TR51 Could Change the Warzone Meta
Season 6 also introduces two important weapons through the Battle Pass: the VMP SMG and TR51 Para Assault Rifle.
The VMP is a full-auto SMG built around fast handling and a high fire rate, while maintaining reliable damage and relatively light damage falloff at range. That makes it an obvious weapon to test for aggressive Resurgence players.
The TR51 is very different. It is a semi-automatic assault rifle with high damage and easy long-range control, although it can also be configured for full-auto fire. Its versatility could make it particularly interesting for players who prefer a more accurate AR.
Because these weapons are brand new, their real position in the meta will depend heavily on damage profiles, attachments and player testing. For now, the Voyak and M15 are the safer weapons to watch, while the VMP has the highest potential to disrupt close-range fights.
Haunted Hollow Brings Halloween to Warzone
The other huge Season 6 addition is Haunted Hollow, the Halloween-themed version of Haven's Hollow.
The map features a Ghost Train, Trick or Treat Pumpkins, a Mystery Box and a Low Gravity Zone inside the Mansion. The Low Gravity Zone allows players to travel farther and higher while taking no fall damage, creating some unusual movement opportunities during fights.
The Ghost Train can temporarily phase into reality and provide access to Supply Boxes, a Buy Station and Mystery Box. Meanwhile, pumpkins can provide power-ups such as Double Points, Full Armor, Full Ammo, Loot Master, Zarkour and Undead Sight.
This is more than a visual reskin. Haunted Hollow changes traversal, loot opportunities and certain combat situations, so players should expect the Season 6 meta to develop around the new map.
Giant Infected and New Season 6 Modes
Season 6 also introduces Giant Infected, a 64-player limited-time mode set exclusively on Haunted Hollow.
Eight players begin as Infected, while Survivors must collect DNA samples and eventually construct a DNA Bomb. Infected players return with unlimited sprint, stronger melee attacks, rapid mantling, wall jumps and no fall damage.
The mode should provide a very different experience from standard Battle Royale and Resurgence, particularly because movement and objectives become more important than simply winning gunfights.
Season 6 also updates Win Streak rewards. Battle Royale players can earn the Eye of the Storm and Stormfront camos, while Resurgence has Harvest Haunt and Neon Nightmare rewards. Black Ops Royale also receives Crimson Omen and Contagion camos — but Season 6 is the final opportunity to play Black Ops Royale.
Warzone Season 6 Ranked and Gameplay Changes
Ranked players also have plenty to learn. Season 6 is shorter, and deployment fees have been increased for Diamond and higher divisions. SR Challenges are disabled for the season, while several previously restricted items are now allowed in Ranked loadouts, including a shotgun, launchers and other equipment.
Supply Drones have also been completely reworked. They now concentrate around High Value Loot Zones, carry more Legendary Crates, remain active longer and behave more predictably. The Juggernaut Public Event has been disabled, while Cluster Strikes are now available from Buy Stations for $4,000.
What Is the Warzone Season 6 Meta?
The early Warzone Season 6 meta is likely to be much less dominated by the AN-94.
The Voyak KT-3 is the biggest AR candidate after its substantial damage, recoil and bullet velocity buffs, while the M15 MOD 0 deserves immediate testing because of its improved damage and headshot multiplier. The VMP could become the close-range weapon to beat once players optimize its attachments.
The most important thing is that Season 6 is designed specifically to shake up the AR and SMG meta rather than simply add more content. With the AN-94 pulled back and several underused weapons strengthened, buy CoD Black Ops 7 Bot Lobbies, the first few days of Season 6 should be critical for discovering the next dominant loadouts.
